I think that the Westboro Baptist Church are just plain ridiculous. I first found out about them a few years ago when I watched the Matthew Shepard story, and I was utterly appauled at the things that they do and say. They take bible verses and twist them around to mean things totally different. I'm genuinely surprised that they haven't been assassinated yet- and when it happens, it won't be soon enough.

They are obviously very deluded and they live in their own little world. Sometimes I think people pay them too much attention though, they very much enjoy it when people get upset and frusterated with them, and the way they make their money for their church is by suing people who physically assault them.

Note: if you've seen the film Bruno with Sacha Baron Cohen, there's a bit where he and another guy are trapped in bondage gear (they locked themselves together by accident) and walk past WBC demonstrators, asking them if they can "undo them" - it made me ROFL

And I loved that part in Bruno. I love watching people make the WBC members uncomfortable. I'm not sure if you listed it, but there's a clip of a male reporter hitting on Fred Jr for fun, it's brilliant.

Eh, I can't bring myself to ever listen to that garbage again. It's seriously vomit inducing. My friend said that they have recorded a 'parody' of I'll Be There as well and it's somewhere on their website. I don't care to listen to it, though.

Yeah, they're kind of retarded that way. Tyra Banks had them on her show about a year ago, and the two girls said they watched America's Next Top Model. Tyra asked them why they would watch it if they thought she/the show was evil, and they didn't have an answer for that one.
