Which is harder - REmake2 or R3make3?

I am more likely to take damage from Nemesis than from either Mr X or G-Birkin. Plus the zombies seem to get staggered less & move faster in RE 3 compared to RE 2.

So I'd have to declare RE 3 to be more challenging than RE 2 for me.
