What would you do? How would you survive?

AgentZero

Through that door, is a seperate reality.
So... If you were forced in to a zombie outbreak, what would you do to survive? What is your plan of action?

As for me, (Note: I made this up before the walking dead season 3.)
Find any vehicle. Any thing that can get me from point A. to point B. Start with getting family and friends to a rural farm house. hold up there for as long as possible. After we get set up, its time to find a more reliable source of transportation, such as a school bus. Even though it takes up a lot of gas, we wont be using it very often. Next with scouting missions roughly each week, depending on how much stuff we get each trip. Scouting missions will be going to get medical supply's, food, water, tools, and books. (Mainly education books on medicine, construction, science, etc.) Once we start running out of supplies, or an uncontrollable horde comes through. When such happens we will move a few hundred miles to an easy prison to take over. We will then hold up here untin an uncontrollable horde comes through or there is not enough supplies. and keep reapiting, working our way down south, until we can get to the coast, we will then find a small island just a few miles away from the shore, clear it out if theres zombies, and make scouting missions every so often. That way we are completely safe until we go on a scouting mission.

I think most of you know this already, but if I'm faced with any kind of situation like this, I'm just killing myself. I have no depression issues, it's just pointless to fight a battle you can't win.

No, but it'll be fun while it lasts!

I would love this to happen. Funnily enough, recently our local council admitted it had no plans in the event of a zombie apocalypse. It made the local news at the time, as someone had requested the info and they didnt have a plan.
personally im from England so firearms are difficult to get hold of here (especially in a zombie apocalypse). Unless you live on a farm.
So my priorities for weaponary would be to head to sporting stores who sell powerful Air rifles and Bladed weapons. Machetes, large knifes and samurai swords would be my weapons of choise. Army surplus stores would be good for a raid. I would fill a large car with the weapons, first aid supplies, gas stoves and various tools from the army surplus and sports stores. Flares, torches and lanterns would also be on my list!
Next would be to get out of the busy city and find somewhere to lay low. I think heading out of the main city would be hard as the government would initiate martial law and would be fencing in the cities. I would head for Bradgate park, a large nature reserve near me to hall up in one of the old mansions there. There would be deer and other animals to hunt plus plenty room for growing green herbs and food crops.

Probably the basic plan, gather food and weapons, find and empty area and secure it while carrying a radio to get updates on the events and rescue team locations.

I would also try and find a good quality gas mask. Even if the virus isn't air born breathing in all those dead bodies can't be delightful or healthy.

Killing yourself is an understandable choice, but I don't think it's an impossible feat to survive. And while I don't do everything I see on TV, I think being a RE fan I think the more optimistic side of me would look at it as an opportunity. If I am gonna die, let me got out in style living out one of my favorite games. Get cosplay of one of the characters before I start making my run, and to all of my partners I will say things like, "Come on! Wait! Good job! Roger! I got it! I'm coming! Not now!"

I always said if the world had to end in my day, let it be a zombie attack. Not only do you have a fighting change but you can live inside one of your video games before you die. You can't fight an earthquake or a volcano. And Aliens would probably just pull a Frieza and blow us up from afar.

...I guess with all your love ones dead and your life really at stake it wouldn't be that simple to indulge in, but like I said, the optimistic side that came to terms with it.

Thats how I all ways wanted the world to end as well, and also to L.

You can survive. All you need to do is learn to farm, and get running water, get to a small island, gather up a few survivers, reproduce, and boom, you got your self set. (Obviously it's not thaaaaat simple, but you get the idea.)

The amount of effort I would put into this kind of situation depends on whether I had any family/friends left or not. If I had family or some good friends around I would try to survive. If I had nobody not so much.
