What Happened to Dino Crisis ?

Anyone remember Dino Crisis, made by the same guy who did Resident Evil 1, i really enjoyed that game its a shame they didnt make a 4th one. well i think it was a good game did anyone ever play it aswell it was very similair to resident evil, to be honest i think it was resident evil but with dinosaurs...

Yep I've played both the first and second games of the series. Never got to beat them though, they were still really fun and I still own the second game but haven't really gotten around to playing it again.

I heard the thrid game is terrible, any thoughts?

On the idea of a 4th game, I think that would be cool, but I also think it would be better if they remade the first game since:

1. The newer game of the series give the wrong impression
2. A lot of people still haven't heard of this game series
3. It would would just be awesome and more updated/detailed.
 
i love dino crisis that is the way of how i discovered RE. i have 1 and 2 and i have beaten both, the first one is very scary and the second one not at all. and what makes DC more scarier for me is how not many people know about it. ive never played the 3rd one and i never plan to beacuse it looks really bad. i play the first 2 alot.
 
It died, unfortunately. Capcom has just kinda swept it under the rug, not sure why though because the first two were fantastic games.

I agree, before a DC 4, I'd love to see a remake of the first one - that would be amazing.
 
i never played the third 1, mainly because i never had the xbox, the first i never completed and the second was awesome, then have you noticed that capcom games always are one thing like survival horror they always get turned into action games... i just hope resident evil doesnt take the same path as did Dino Crisis...
 
yea its was great game

i played the 1st and 2nd parts

it was realy a re but with anuther monsters

idont know what happend to cut it like that

its a big lost

Ive attempted to play it but could find it. Oh yeah and my backwards compatible ps2 broke.
 
Dino Crisis is one of my favourite old school games to play. I was lucky enough to grow up to play games like this. Back when it first came out, I was scared yet excited to play this game, the music, feel and the dinosaurs popping out of no where gave me a rush like nothing I've ever had before.

I've played the second Dino Crisis also, along with the third, which were pretty dissappointing, it just wasn't the same compared to the first game. If another DC was to be made, it's gotta be a remake of the first two games in the series. With all the HD graphics now available, a possible future remake of DC would look so epic. It'd also have to be in third-person mode for me, it just wouldn't stay true to the original if it wasn't in third-person. Though I wouldn't mind if you could have the option to use First-person view, just to see how the game would be like that way.

 
I love Dino Crisis. :wub: A remake would be fantastic! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm sure Capcom will see fit to breath life back into the series at some point.
 
Capcom SHOULD remake Dino Crisis. Could be a fun Wii thing or something, as a rail shooter, but they SHOULD do a proper remake.
 
DC 1 was the F***ING BOMB! At first I wasn't "allowed" to play it because it was too "scary", but I got dibs on that when I was 7 and past it like 3 times before my oldest brother could pass it once. I never got around to playing the DC 2 and 3. Ahhh just reminscing my times as a young girl rocking out the old school hardcore games. 11 years passed... and I now I feel the need to go back, get the game, and play it again. Now those were the good times :D

I gotta' agree with you there. If they remake the first game then it should come out for the PS3 and 360 systems! None of this Wii crap. Don't get me wrong the Wii is a nice 'family' system but they should really get serious with the remake of DC and take it to a more realistic and horrific level like they did with REmake.
 
I don't mind rail shooters so much, they're fun when you have no energy and feel like playin' lazy. But as I said a proper remake would be brilliant.
 
The first and only time I've ever played Dino Crisis was when I bought RE3 back when it first came out on the PS1. The demo for DC1 was included and I played it constantly..I guess I just never really got around to actually playing the whole game. It was pretty awesome though..I love it. I like dinos anyways :p
 
i would love to see a remake on my 360 now, not the crappy in space dino crisis, but the back to basics DC and DC2.

however i doubt it would ever happen.
i guess we can only hope.
