What do you think was the best game that came out this year

Well the year is almost over and it is time to look back at all the games that came out this year. There are still 6 more titles coming out this year before 1/1/10, but we are going to leave them out. Now lets get this out of away right now, classic games don't count, so that means no Call of Duty Classic, no Splosion Man, no Shadow Complex, and no of all the rest of the classic games that came out this year. And another thing no games that you bought this year that came out last year or before last year.

Out of all the games that came out this year I think that the best one for me was probably Resident Evil 5. It was the best that I played this year. I even played the it the longest out of all the other games that I got this year counting in over 200 hours of playing in between 2-6 weeks of playing it.

The other great games that came out this year was Modern Warfare 2, would have been the best if everybody didn't play multiplayer as much. Assassin's Creed 2 good, but I haven't played it yet. Saw, another game I didn't play. Left 4 Dead 2, would have been my favorite, but the connections was still messed up and hardly any of my friends never came to my co-op games. Dragons Age: Orgins, loved it, but still haven't played it enough.

Uncharted 2 is my game of the year. After that its Dragon Age: Origins and Prototype.

The gameplay in Assassin's Creed II was amazing of course, but the story was hard to follow (I stopped trying about halfway through) and the ending is incredibly wacky. The whole end sequence was like ':blink:'

Favorite game this year is Assassin's Creed 2 - Gamespot says the ending fizzles out real fast which is kinda true...but thats exactly how the first game ended lol I liked it though. It's a big game, if you wonna make it last then do all the missions lol...

plus there are a few episodes or a 35 minute episode called "lineage" I got the first video on xbox live yesterday night it seems there in parts, it's cool I like stuff like that!

Didn't they show that on Spike like a week or so before it came out? All the actors look spot on, but I had a hard time following it (I think its the italian accent!)

<=O What is Spike? lol I didnt know the video was out, I was looking on xbox video marketplace or whatever its called and I found the first episode by suprise!.. and thats when I thought why should I be waiting ages for it to download on xblive when I can use youtube and get the hole thing instantly lol

I only found out about the video like 2-3 days ago haha Im not really up to date like I should be, when it come to those things... I seem to miss out till someone tells me about it or I accidently find it myself.

I'm going to go with RE 5 by default. Mainly because it's the only game I played that came out this year.

Saaame here. I swear that game rarely left my system since it was released.

Though I probably don't count because, for the most part, the only games that I take time to play are survival-horror games.

I also really liked Silent Hill Homecoming- that was surprisingly good and had a great Silent Hill story to add to the series.

FEAR 2 wasn't bad either.

Uncharted 1/2 looks really awesome though!

Spike TV the television station. They showed it at like some ridiculous time (midnight) before it came out, so I didn't watch all of it, but it was interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing some more short films with that style of filming, it looked really nice.

My favourite games this year were probably Uncharted 2m Arkham Asylum or R&C: A Crack in Time. All were awesome, but Arkham was probably the best out of the 3.

This yeah was okay for games, but next yeah looks to be amazing! Metroid: Other M, Bayonetta, Final Fantasy XIII... The list is endless!

Prototype and RE5 are two games I played the most this year. CoD:MW2 is next. Out of the first two, RE5 wins.
