WEEKEND SPEEDRUN CONTEST

Friday 21st August - Monday 24th August 2009​

I'm holding a speedrun contest for some RE fun! You guys have the whole weekend to compete Medals for sigs will be awarded (this are personalised images you can use in your signatures)


RULES
1. The game you play MUST be from the Resident Evil series. It can be any game from that series apart from the mobile/cell phone games.
2. To get your medal you must leave a post in this thread with following information:
The game you played
The console form you played
Time completed
Proof of time result (this can be a video or image)
e.g. Resident Evil, Gamecube, 2:38, (image of results screen)
3. Any results posted before or after the time limit will not get medals. All entries must be posted WITHIN the time limit.
4. ENJOY


CLASSIFICATIONS
Bronze 3 hours or less
Silver 2 hours or less
Gold 1 hour 30 mins or less
Platinum 1 hour or less

RE4 and RE5 have different classifications since the games are longer. These are:
Bronze 4 hours 30 minutes or less
Silver 3 hours 30 minutes or less
Gold 3 hours or less
Platinum 2 hours 30 minutes or less

^ Oh, pfft. I doubt it. I really stink at speed-running. In RE5, my time ranked 'S' only once, on the Expiramental Facility level. :wacko:.

I may try though, if I start feeling adventurous, lol.

But no matter, I will cheer for the rest of you brave peoples.

Just to clarify above queries, you can choose ANY Resident Evil series game you want, just NOT the mobile/cell phone games.

When you post up your info when you've finished the speedrun, just send me data of the game title, time, the console it's on and proof of time.

i reallt f*cked up this run, kept making silly mistakes, like going one way then having to 180 to go the right way.

trust me, silly mistakes like this,
when you go through a door, and you know you should take an immediate left,but you go right then think sh*t, wrong way, 180 and leg it the other way.
doing that a load of times really knocks time off.
i also had to heal once as well, so that knocked some times off
and, saving twice when i wasn't on course for the save room.
there all silly mistakes i could do without.

This is ultra gay, i dont have Resident Evil 4 anymore.

Okay, we didn't speedrun it but my friend and I completed RE3.

I have to admit, even though I love the series to pieces I am an awful player and keep dying! This is the first time I've helped complete an RE game.

And we got the atrocious time of:

7:26:40 (with 38 saves - we kept saving at EVERY opportunity, lol)

I stuck a Raccoon City limits sign on the door, decorated the room with RE stuff and made Jill Sandwiches and Umbrella cupcakes.

Got some limeade to look like the anti-virus, lol xD and Fruit Twist Fanta because it's great

You guys have about 34 hours left I think
