Can't you just spoil the ballot? Either mark it up, deface it, select no one or select everyone and it'll show that you're not happy with any of the parties?Hoady;73921 said:Is it compulsory to vote in the UK?If you don't vote here you get a whopping awesome fine, its also a shame because you don't want to support any of them there all a bunch of idiots.

Isn't the votes secret? In Scandinavia absolutely no one can know what a person is voting. No one can see what we put inside the envelope. I thought the principle of secret voting was common in all democracies.Hoady;73974 said:No its definitely real I've had 2 friends fined and my brother talking about it because he thought he was to late to vote lol.I never asked them how they get you though. Its crap but not a surprise to me.
I'm pretty sure you have to do a vote according to the ballots 'rules' so pretty much voting as the paper needs you too.Whether you like it or not you have to choose someone legitimately.A democracy is where the system is led by the peoples voice correct?Well thats not really the case as its stated.
