Could someone expose to me the time line of the RE games because as I have said in another post i have only played RE 2 RE Code veronica and now number 4, but in RE 2 I got the impression that it was the start of the timeline, but there was RE 1
What was RE directors cut about?

Well, Director's cut is a special version of RE 1 on PS1.
You've some special mod.

For the time line, well, here is the order of the game.

1° RE 0
2° RE 1
3° RE 2 and 3, just some hours of difference
4° Outbreak 1 & 2
5° Code Veronica
6° Dead aim and the Gun Survivor's game.
7° RE 4

I don't really know when Gaiden is so i don't say anything about it.

Umbrella Chronicles is a game with RE 0, 1, 2 in it, so it take place like the original version.
And i don't reveal/spoil for the story in Russia.

did you mean RE DA? well, obviously it is because it has something connected to Umbrella..

but if you want to make a timeline, i think that game should make a consideration, even though the events there is not really connected to other RE series.. because there's umbrella.

You're wrong that's all.
RE Dead Aim, is not only a first personnal shooter, we have globally a third personnal view like all Resi Game before.
And RE Dead Aim, have a lot of connection with the main story with Umbrella.
But i don't class the other Gun Survivor(the one, the two and the three, just the four who is Dead Aim.).
