The change of the first Chris into acctual Chris.

I don't know why they changed Blue chris(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvxe0tDL9g8) into Green Chris (The acctual Chris)

Blue Chris looked much better the outfit is practicly like the actual one but not really and the gray pants and blue shirt fitted him alot better.
If you look at blue Chris, he was not on steroids like green Chris because those biceps and shoulders is a physical impossibility to retreve without using steroids and blue chris had a strong but non steroid body.

Then I also noticed that they made green Chris a little angry in the game, I mean his tone wasn't very kind but then again he was in Africa full with majinis but Sheva handled it pretty okay. When sheva couln't make it it was "I cant right now!" Chris: OUT OF THE QUESTOIN!!! but never mind just concentrate on Green and Blue Chris.

Well, as i've already mentioned I don't think Chris is on steriods. And how can we know how "Blue Chris'" personality was any different? I don't think Chris was mean, he was just stressed out and under alot of pressure, it's not easy going through what he went through and even then he was never really just plain out rude or unnecessarily uptight.

I like the way he was in the final RE5. So I vote for "green Chris"
 
Your right! but I can asure you that he was on steroids, I know the limits, how big you can get, how strong. I have relatives that compeats in bodybuilding and they don't use anything. The way they made Chrises bicep, shoulders... made me laugh.

But I think Blue chris looked a lot better as Character.
 
If Chris was on steriods he'd be much bigger, and have alot more veins and muscles bulging.

I've seen and know people in real life that big, and they were not on steriods. If you have the right genes a guy can get that big. And Chris is really not that huge. They even toned down his size before the release of the game. I mean yeah he's bigger than before, but he's not a big as people exagerate.

Yeah thats strange his shoulders, bicep was steroid big but stomach, breast was not. But there's no way in hell you can get that without steroids. Believe what you want.

Chris Redfield's arms are not even that big, they were in the earlier game, but in the final release his arms were smaller and more realistic. Im sorry, but it's just not gonna change my mind. With the right genetics and diet a guy can get as big as Chris Redfield. Im not trying to make you mad or anything by constantly disagreeing with you, but I just don't think he's on steriods, not only does it seem out of place in a video game and doesn't look like he's on them, but it also doesn't seem to be in Chris Redfield's character.
 
No hard feelings, don't take me wrong:) Who knows what one'll do to try to forget everything, I reckon that's why he started to bodybuild cuz it helps your mind and so on, however as I said you can't get those arms, there's a limit, they are to big.
 
Green Chris is very strong, thanks to steroids, I never saw someone like him, just Arnold Schwarzenegger. Still, I prefer things more 'normal', so blue Chris.
 
haha I don't really think that Chris was in steroids XD I sometimes say that because comparing RE5 Chris to CV, and Remake Chris he looks HUGE! lol but yeah if Chris was in steroids his vains will be more noticeable XD

Amen! I get bored of the steroid jabs too, lol. I mean, I know it's just a game and all, but insuating that a character originally conceived as being so noble and courageous would stoop to that level kinda stinks. In the end, even if he DOES look like he's on something, I can't believe that he, in fact, is. The creators themselves said they made him that way to emphasize that he's been working out and getting stronger. Did they overdo it? Maybe. But I'm not complaining. :D

I honestly don't think his arms are that big. I hear "cantaloupe" and "watermelon" come up a lot in describing his arms, but I have to say, cantaloupes are easily the size of a well-sculpted bicep on the right body-type, and any watermelon the size of Chris's arms is not worth harvesting, lol. And his chest? Pfft. Breadth the span of Texas is not unattainable and it looks darn good. *fans self*
My opinion: Best looking body I've ever seen on a VG character. 'Nuff said. ;)

Anyhoo, I prefer RE5's Chris to Blue Chris. Not that I minded Blue Chris, but he was SO intensely scruffy and even looked like he'd been hitting the bottle a bit, lol (not that I'd blame him for boozing if he's stuck in a weird place like that). Plus I adore his BSAA shirt; much more attractive than his blue shirt, which is an entirely logical reason to prefer one version over the other. :D
I never noticed the change in personality. Actually, I never saw a clip where Blue Chris talked, so . . ?
 
Yeah, noble character?? after two zombie outbreaks, do you know what that can do to a person, it was worse than warzone, anoyone could whine up in a mental hospital so just reconsider it. I'm saying his arms and shoulders nothing else and that's even worse then if they would overdo him compleatly.

Second picture they made his arms a little smaller but they still they are to big to fit the rest of his body.
 
His muscles are bigger than his head. He's a mutant in the first picture. I already know Steroids was something bad, but even the health problem that it gives, it let you a supernatural thing. Still, Chris being this supernatural thing, I like him :lol:
 
They must have been drunk when they made the first picture, yes perhaps there was a big night for the workers... a little song, little dance. Who knows.

I forgot to put this in my first post, but I also choose, "Green Chris" because green is his signature color. That would be like putting Jill in a green outfit. I mean, he looks ok in a blue shirt, but green is more fitting for Chris. (IMO)

There it is! I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but now you said it, he looks drunk and his facial hair is too long.
 
Green is indeed Chris's theme color but one should not be afraid to change.
And we all know Chris as within green color. I mean the ****ed up Jill pretty bad to in that case

To Valentine: Now you said you didn't want this topic to be a debate over whether Chris is on steriods or not, yet you keep insisting on bringing up the subject. I've already stated my opinion on the matter, but when you keep bringing it up, it's like an invitation for someone else to start debating it. Just saying.

And yes, a minor change such as shirt color is fine, but if I had my personal choice id choose a green shirt because Chris looks better in green and as I said before, I see it as a signature.
