Resident Evil 5 Sheva to ruin the experience?

I'm having second thoughts with Sheva. Apparently shes going to be with you throughout the whole game and you don't seperate for long unlike in Resident Evil 4 where you got to part away from ashley for a longtime.The only reason i'm having a whinge about it is because it looks like her being constantly with you reduces many possibilites for scares and if she sucks at killing things she could die alot.It does make sense for coop(which will rock)but what are your thoughts on Sheva in singleplayer?

Sheva Alomar Says on the RE5 website shes from a westen african branch working as a agent Hahah and it says her highly conditioned body allows her to pull off physical attacks chris could never do, soo she doesnt sounds so bad. shes alright I geussalthough if you seperate in the game at any point and they both go seperate ways I hope you get a choice of who to control the ashley part in RE4 was anoyying haha.

I think she looks cool i just reckon maybe her tagging along all the time could suck a bit maybe just because its departing from the scare factor then again nothing could be worse then Ashley.

resident evil 4 wasnt too bad scare wise had alot of monster in it though, the camera angles made me scare the most from the remake on cube.
have to wait and see I mean RE4 started in a village and ended somewhere alot differnt I wonder what RE5 holds in store.

I think maybe i was relying to heavily on zero and 4 i just got a bit paranoid this may all be action and no scares maybe i should shutup till its released.

I suppose the coop is more then enough me and mate always wanted to do RE4 on coop.

Its info on an Re5 demo coming to xbox live(sorry ps3 owners)but guess what?Its only in japan(the punks)!But i read elsewhere that demos are usually released around the world in the same time span so hopefully we will can be expecting a demo this year(hope i have xbox live then).

i really dont think sheva will ruin the game, shes not helpless, im sure she will help you outta **** alot, and you will help her out.
and im pretty sure i heard that you can only play as chris in the main game.

As long as she doesn't say "CHRIS. HAAAAAALP" over and over, then I have no problem with her following him around. Of course, if she's useless like Ashley was, and annoying as hell in the process, then I might not be so excited about her.

I think she'll be a help....and will not ruin anything! I don't think she'll follow you all the time in the beginning, at least.
RE team never created a bad game scrip, and don't think they'll start now!

After playing the demo shevas really cool and when shes asks for help its actually not annoying unlike that terrible kind of a woman Ashley i'm glad Leon turns her down!

Yeah shes awesome if you were just alone it wouldn't necessarily matter but she really does amp the game up a bit.Well put it this way Capcom know what there doing.

Don't call Ashley a woman! She's far from a woman! She doesn't deserve the title of a woman! She knows how to throw a lamp, and to push, and how to pull a lever. Hell, my dog can do more then she can do. Good lord she was so annoying. I would kill her over and over until I finally got to the part where she is captured. Ahhh, the sweet silence that followed. So nice.

But yeah, Sheva doesn't seem like she'll be an annoyance. She's basically a female version of Chris, she has the same actions. She can keep herself out of trouble, I'm sure.

here's something I found on Wikipedia! I don't know if you guys read this b4 though!

In an interview with XBOX360ISM, Keiji Inafune stated that the game will feature some online elements. Resident Evil 5's main story mode can be played with two players, in a co-operative online mode. The feature will allow players to enter or leave anytime during the game. Players will not always stick together, and can be separated at points during the gameplay.

We have another one who enjoy to kill Ashley...like most of us...welcome to "I Hate Ashley the Annoying Follower" Club!!! 8)

And yes Shiva is not like pain in the **tt...she is nice character...and might come handy in some situations...definitely not going to ruin the game play...in fact i like her already.
