Battle Royale manga makes me sad

It's not strictly a movie, but there are lots of sad parts in it

The moment I best can remember, was when Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank) was crushed and hospitalized in Million Dollar Baby. I don't easily get wet eyes from watching a movie, but that was such a rare moment.
The list of won or nominated awards for this film is very long, for good reasons.
