Does the phrase "Right now I'm lying to you" make any sense to you?
I never heard of it, but I'd assume by saying 'right now I'm lying to you' outside of a context or subject, you are actually saying 'right now I'm telling you the truth'.Fallen91;64978 said:Does the phrase "Right now I'm lieing to you" make any sense to you?

Okay, I'm not looking at the spoiler until after I write this post. The barber has no other choice but to shave himself, because he's the only barber in town and since everyone is clean cut that means he has to be shaved - not to mention the scenario states that all men either go to the one male barber or they shave themselves. He can't really charge himself for a hair-cut, that would be stupid. He'd just cut it himself, making the statement that "He shaves all and only those men in town who do not shave themselves" incorrect.Fallen91;65010 said:"Suppose there is a town with just one male barber; and that every man in the town keeps himself clean-shaven: some by shaving themselves, some by attending the barber. It seems reasonable to imagine that the barber obeys the following rule: He shaves all and only those men in town who do not shave themselves.
Under this scenario, we can ask the following question: Does the barber shave himself?
That's one of my favorite sayings.Fallen91;64978 said:Does the phrase "Right now I'm lying to you" make any sense to you?
