RIP Brittany Murphy

You go LFF . But if you look at the pictures of Britteny Murhpy just earlier this year or even last year and look at the ones of here that were taken on December 1st, you can definitely tell she was on something. The only thing that I can speculate is that it was cocaine. My buddy, who is a Deputy Sheriff, even said that it seemed like she was doing coke. All that aside, it still is sad to see her go at such a young age. She was both a talented actress and voice actress. RIP BM.

Hold up. Usually, I'd just ignore this - especially considering that I made this thread about Brittany Murphy... but it somehow turned into a discussion and then to an attack on Michael Jackson which I will address. First of all, I do not consider myself as 'crawling out the woodwork'. Yes, I think it's stupid how people are making him out to be some kind of civil and political rights leader when he simply wasn't. That's why I thought Al Sharpton was so phony at the memorial. I even saw a discussion on another board where MJ fans were saying that Michael made a greater contribution to the world than Martin Luther King did and I blew up at them in King's favour. I definitely recognize that he wasn't the 'greatest African American' ever.

That said - before you talk **** about someone, know what you're talking about first. Michael Jackson was a black man. He had a skin condition called vitiligo that destroyed the pigmentation of his skin. There are hundreds of pictures of these spots on his body, all you have to do is look it up on google. He didn't 'dye' his skin. He may have looked white - but it was NOT his choice, and the fact that he had a disease that caused his skin to become white and blotchy did NOT mean he wasn't a black man.

This wasn't meant as an attack on you guys - but I was actually quite personally offended by these comments so I couldn't not respond to them. I just wish people would do their research prior to jumping to conclusions. It certainly seems out of the question for most.
Skin condition lmao ahahah now that funny, well your intitled to your opinion, but that is bull**** I didnt know skin conditions caused your nose and hair features to change into a white mans.

T Dot. You really need to do some research. He did have the disease. It's not her opinion, its a flat out fact. Don't troll if you don't know what's going on.

As for his features, he got plastic surgery. Too much of it imo. But this is, unfortunately, a popular trend. Down right stupid, if you ask me. He looked his best when he got his first nose job. He didn't really need it, but he should've stopped there.

Of course we're all entitled to our opinions; but, as a 20 year old third year Honours Political Science major who can spell entitled and who generally likes to know what she's talking about before she opens her mouth, I would put money on my opinions being far more educated than yours. Why? Because I can support mine with facts. You can't. All you have are your assumptions that he 'dyed' his skin. I have pictures of his disease. HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH IT. If you don't know what 'diagnosed' means, let me fill you in - it means that a doctor identified Michael Jackson's condition as being due to a skin pigmentation disorder called vitiligo. Did you even bother to look it up as I told you to do? Something tells me you didn't. And I did not say his skin condition was responsible for his nose jobs and his wigs, so learn to read more carefully next time.

Need I say more or are you going to keep shoveling your bullsh!t? You're very ignorant, T Dot. Very ignorant.

Edit: Thanks a bunch for the back-up, Elochai. It's very nice to see someone else who clearly knows what they're talking about.

I think it is time that we end the argument about Michael Jackson's skin disease.

LFF is 100% correct that he was diagnosed with vitiligo. Here is proof that he was diagnosed with it "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jackson's_health_and_appearance".

Argument ended.

T Dot, if you keep on acting like this and arguing with people, I can assure you that LFF, Sephiroxas, or any of the admins will ban you. It already happened so don't think that I am lying.

i can't believe this hasn't been closed already, its already well off topic.
unless someone wants to actually talk about brittany murphy, i sure don't so i shall never return to this thread.

i can't believe this hasn't been closed already, its already well off topic.

Because I’m not done yet. After I make this post, you can be sure as hell this topic will be closed.

@ T Dot;

You know, I have banned people for less and I am tempted to do so now. Don’t get me wrong – I wouldn’t want to ban anyone on MJ's behalf, but who are we kidding, I’m certainly not above it. Not to mention that your banning would be perfectly legitimate under this community rule:

Insulting comments, slandering, spamming, or intentionally argumentative (trolling) in posts, profile comments, private messages, etc. will result in you being banned.

You insulted aintnoscrub a week ago by calling him a jackass – that was the first strike. I count this to be trolling as it is intentionally argumentative. So, one more strike and you’re out. In fact, if I so much as don’t like your tone in any of your following posts, you’re gone. Call me Hitler, call me a fascist, I don’t give a f u c k – I don’t put up with bullsh!t. Consider yourself warned. If you have anything further to say to me, make use of my visitor board and private messages. If anyone has anything further to say to me, bring it on.

Topic Closed. I’m sorry that this had to happen in Brittany Murphy’s RIP thread, I really am - but there was absolutely no reason to start slandering on a dead man here of all places and that is why I responded in the manner that I did. If anyone wants to discuss Brittany, feel free to make a new thread.
