Brittany Murphy died sometime this morning; cardiac arrest at only 32 years old. It seems like '09 has been the worst year for celebrity deaths. I loved her in Don't Say a Word, she was phenomenal.
RIP Brittany.

Very sad news. RIP.
wtf greatest African American?, sorry I dont live in America so Ive never heard that term used to describe MJ, but this guy is not black hes white, hes a sellout and I couldnt care less if he's dead. Yes that will hurt a lot of people but you need to look past the fact that he made good music and could dace really well... he wasn't exactly the best of characters... IMOSTAR_738;61383 said:Nah. He was good though and had a few really great songs. But not one of my favorites, Smartass.
Even though I wasn't a big fan of his, his death was still a shock and sad- like anyone's death.
I find it funny how all of his "fans" came out of the woodwork after the fact and all of the sudden he was the greatest African American who paved the ways for all the blacks and blah blah blah. Oops, I've said too much.
Hold up. Usually, I'd just ignore this - especially considering that I made this thread about Brittany Murphy... but it somehow turned into a discussion and then to an attack on Michael Jackson which I will address. First of all, I do not consider myself as 'crawling out the woodwork'. Yes, I think it's stupid how people are making him out to be some kind of civil and political rights leader when he simply wasn't. That's why I thought Al Sharpton was so phony at the memorial. I even saw a discussion on another board where MJ fans were saying that Michael made a greater contribution to the world than Martin Luther King did and I blew up at them in King's favour. I definitely recognize that he wasn't the 'greatest African American' ever.T Dot;61386 said:wtf greatest African American?, sorry I dont live in America so Ive never heard that term used to describe MJ, but this guy is not black hes white, hes a sellout and I couldnt care less if he's dead.
