Wow, I never expected RE 6 by the end of this year. Since there are references to president, i expect some elements in RE 4 to be referred as leon sought president's daughter. It is early but i do hope las plagas incident has effected or caused viral outbreak yet again. Thanks for sharing.

Well as he was saying that he was injecting something into his neck so I assumed what he was saying was in his blood was what he was injecting
.

Not sure what you are trying to say...

And what he was injecting into himself seems to be something that fights off his transformation judging by his hand.

Steve had somewhat of a immunity to the T Veronica virus since he was able to fight it off and attack Alexia and even give some last words to Claire. If I had to guess I would say that Wesker did indeed bring him back but Steve somehow escaped and took some form of "serum" that keeps his transformation under check. But his blood still contains the T Verponica virus and with it a possible antibody to it.

I'd be shocked if that was Steve. What would he be doing with Ashley? Besides the T-Veronica Virus wouldn't be that valuable by now. Its both on the black market and owned by the government.

I just hope they don't make the game like RE5 what with the obligate co-op gameplay and extremely linear path. They also need to slow down the game so your not just running and gunning the whole time. I doubt they'll do anything we've wanted (except for the zombies it looks like) but that doesn't mean we won't get the game now does it? I think Capcom knows that.

Wait Leon and Chris.... The more reason to think Claire will be there

It's possible. I read somewhere that Ada will be in the game, though no one knows how big of a role she will play in the game.

I'm really surprised and didn't expect the game to look as good as it does considering Operation Raccoon City's trailer (mind you that game does look entertaining at best, but not anything that's could be as... epic as this 6th game could be).

And I'm going to go ahead and say that I love the action direction the games have taken. I mean the first game/remake was amazing and all but the action is just as enjoyable and probably the number one reason why people still continue to play RE4 and RE5 on a fairly regular basis. It's kind of like the movies Alien and Aliens where one is more horror based and the other is more action but they are still both enjoyable and work well together.

Anyway I'm loving the detail in the gameplay, like how Chris is shown pushing past characters/monsters and patting people on the back. Itkind of reminds me of Uncharted 3. And it does have a darker feel to it, heck it could be kind of like Dead Space when it comes to how the monsters appear. Good stuff.

I also want to point out how I love how this game trailer has just taken all the attention away from the new RE movie trailer that came out. Funny sh*t. Think Capcom did it on purpose? Lol

For all we know a T Veronica variant virus could be what is being used during this story to turn everyone into these monsters. If that is the case than Steve's blood could possibly produce a antibody for it since he has some form of immunity to it. It makes alot of since once you actually set back and think about it.

But who knows, its to early at this point to be making theories but that guys hand looks like Steve's when he mutates and I don't think its a coincidence that he mentions his blood. Not to mention the fact that this guy seems to have some form of experience with zombies and BOWs judging by the way he was speaking with Ashley. Definitely shows that he has been through this kind of stuff before...

Is it just me...Or does it look like Ashley may actually be an enjoyable character this time around...I mean...I may get a lot of hate for this...But I didn't realise it was her at first...I thought it was some badass new character...Then I rewatched it and was like WTF!! THAT'S ASHLEY!!! But anyway, I'm kind of glad she's coming back...Better her than that f--king mistake that was Sheva...

Gotta say I'm disappointed. I've always been against two heroes in the same game - ie; Leon and Chris - and I've always been against Leon period so there goes that one. The scares and zombies look pretty good but other than that, I think it looks awfully busy and clustered. We've got, what? Three, stories going on here instead of the normal two and none of them seem to have anything at all to do with each other aside from the setting; I can only wonder how all of this is going to tie in together. And more new characters? Seriously? I would rather have this entire game be one big Leon/Ada soap-opera than have more character introductions. *facepalm* Over the years Capcom has created interesting and lasting characters that people enjoy seeing and enough scenarios with each different personality to go around yet they insist on creating more?

*shakes head*

And Operation Raccoon City still looks like the most interesting thing to come out of the Resident Evil franchise since Code Veronica - or the Remake, whichever you prefer. I'm honestly starting to believe that this series was over the minute Umbrella was destroyed.

There is hardly any info on characters or plots in the game besides a 4 minute footage on wat to expect and there is bitching already. I don't understand your expectations are from the game or characters. To be disappointed jus cuz a character(leon) is involved is depressing. Is not leon involved in operation raccoon city as well? So why not be disappointed in it as well? Besides operation raccoon city is a prequel and non-canon as objective of the game is to destroy evidence of umbrella and kill any survivors that may be future witnesses. But as per the canon, there were survivors. If you are preferring the cannon only relating umbrella, why show interest in operation raccoon city as it is a non-canon game.

New characters and plots are required to continue the series. Besides, there are new gamers who might wanna try out the game. It would be ridiculous to expect them to play the old games or even have knowledge of them to play current game.

Yay RE6 has zombies :)

Yea we won't really know what the game feels like until we play it for ourselves. From that trailer it doesn't really show any horror at all, just looks like an action game.

When did I say that I was disappointed simply because Leon was a part of the game? There are other reasons listed in my response and, if you'd bother to read the entire post instead of just clicking "reply" at the first thing you disagree on, you'd see that. I also don't remember saying that new gamers should go replay the old games...; that was no where in my response at all so please don't put words in my mouth.

Anyone who knows me even the tiniest bit knows I hate the term canon; taking that, and the fact that the word was used absolutely no where in my first post, canon has nothing to do with my disappointment in the Resident Evil 6 trailer or my excitement with Operation Raccoon City. It is just a small snip-it of what the game will be but I also know my personal preferences and what I expected when this game was said to be going back to the ways of old and what I saw in that trailer, wasn't it.

Can someone please explain to me just when expressing your opinion became "bitching"? *blinks* Or is it just expressing an opinion different from yours that constitutes this term?

In a scene with Steve? theirs a blonde haired girl with him. Theirs only two (three if Jill hasn't dyed/hair reverted back to normal) and I don't think Ashley would be with Steve so Sherry's the only other person we know it might be.
