ok, I've had it for a month now and I got like 87% completed. overall its a great game I've enjoyed and still enjoy to play but theres some stuff thats ****ing me off. for a better orientation, I'm not new to gaming and theres only 4-5 levels I need to finish in professional mode to have all with an S. so here we go

- sheva's reaction: it seems like I'm killing all the enemies, moving forward and she's just walking by like a debile dog, picking up some gold and unnecessary items

- professional mode and sheva: its clear this mode offers a competition but in my eyes its kinda ridicolous that even a punch from a zombie behind you throws you down to a red health bar. next thing is, if this happens, chris is like lying around on the floor for ages while the save-bar is getting smaller and smaller and when he's finally up, theres no chance for sheva to heal him ...if she WANTS to! yeah, sometimes it really seems to me like she's refusing to heal instead of standing around like a dork.

- ingame-item menu: to be honest, it sucks balls. when you got used to it its not as bad as at the beginning but its still not satisfying enough. especially on mercenary- or professional-mode where you gotta react very quick, its a pain in the arse to open it, select your stuff etc.
what would have been wrong with creating some kind of "shortcuts" for the controller cross? e.g. you can select item a with UP, item b with LEFT and so on

- mercenary mode: its great stuff but sometimes it can drive you mad. I love it when theres a 90 combo and I cant find anymore ammo, what is this? or what about those damn zombies that love to attack you from behind, need like 10 seconds to get removed and end up a combo? a kill-counter would also have been nice

- item menu: an option like "sell all treasures" or "upgrade the weapon until theres no more money left" would have been great.

- the atmosphere: I'm sure I'm not the first to say this. the game itself is great as I already said but the atmosphere is horrible, but I gotta admit its getting better in upper levels.

now I still got some questions. how can I play the "team mode"? do I receive the second platinum trophy only when I've achieved all trophies (on ps3)?

I agree with this. Playing on Pro/Veteran mode is almost next to impossible by yourself because of this very thing. I ended up dying a million times just because Sheva wasn't fast enough to save/heal me. Seems like her speed is a bug that they should fix.

You can use the d-pad to quick select weapons. If you've placed weapons in those slots. I actually love that aspect.

good to know, so thats what those arrows in the menu are for?

I do not agree. (Sheva CPU Playstation 3) was very smart!! She took out enemies one by one softly and without wasting any ammo. Her sniper reflexes was magnificent, only a machine/autoaim can do that. When dying was displayed she healed you so the moment you could possible be acctually healed faster then anyone human. She was a 100 %.

I think you're being ironic, but in some parts I agree with you. When she is with a Sniper, she does well, and not only when Dying was displayed she healed you. Sometimes you get hit by a simple thing, and there cames her, wastes your herbs/First aid spray.

When I was hit by a simple thing yes she healed me with a herb never FAS and a herb does better on you then in your inventory. I here ppl complaning all the time buy I never sences that, (Sheva PS3 was there for me all the time like it should be done, A CPU it doesn't question you it simply do the thing I say.

Earlier on in the game that used to annoy me, the fact that if she picked up a green herb or had a spray she would use it as soon as I took one hit. However in the later parts near the end, I found that I gave Sheva two sprays and whatever herbs I found, she would come to me and heal me while I was still fighting. I found that to be very handy :D

I learned the D-Pad inventory select by accident, but the way I had it arranged I ended up equipping myself with something stupid like shotgun shells.

I agree, Valentine. Sheva never gave me a problem, or at least, never gave me a big enough problem that it was imprinted on my brain as a serious detractor, lol.

I have the PS3 too, but can the AI really be that different between systems? My typical set-up for her in my first playthrough was a handgun and a machine gun and that was it, lol. I had her carry some extra grenades around just in case and always kept a slot open on her menu so she could pick up the extra weapons. And *gasp* I usually let her carry the majority of healing items. (I heard later from someone else how that was a BAD IDEA but I never felt it was so)Chris would carry a spray, she'd carry a red/green herb mix and spray.

I'm sort of an aggressive player when I'm solo, and I would also never let her go far from Chris. She barely had to raise her gun half the time, because Chris was blowing everyone to bits. :D

She did blow through her handgun ammo a lot though, but once she got the machine gun, that either slowed or became inconsequential to me, as the machine gun ammo was more abundant and she could hold more of it.

Right now my set-up for her is a handgun, the AK-74 and the Stun Rod. The stun rod is a GREAT choice in the earlier levels if you want her to conserve ammo, because she equips that as her default and rarely pulls out the other weapons.

you know i just thought of something, in the back cover of the game(resident evil 5 pal) it says " a fear you will never forget" and i have to admit that capcom is right this time, i could never forget a fear that i never had
