The Queen arrived today and sort of completes the Alien/Predator line of that series.

I wish HeroCross would do more figures of characters I love... then again, its financially for the best.
This is god damned amazing.

Mine isn't so much a purchase, but as my birthday was a couple days ago, my dad gave me one helluva gift to add to my collection...

I have bought a jack to jack cable (snore) and some early Christmas presents because Amazon keep sliding the price up and down almost hourly and this is the cheapest I've seen these items go for so I'm getting in before.

Have also bought dinner at a restaurant (a really nice and normal experience after the madness of lockdown), a book recommended by my dad and a brilliant bluetooth speaker by Tribit which hands down beats anything I've ever used before.

Well, I just got an e-mail notification telling me my Transformers: the Movie 30th anniversary steelbook order got cancelled because the one copy they had left from that seller is no longer in stock (why they voided mine when I had it ordered 10 days previously, I have no clue) and the next cheapest copy is a ridiculous $45. Luckily I ordered the standard Blu-Ray and the first 2 seasons of Transformers: Prime on Shout Factory for a screaming deal of $115 combined.

I also ordered the Star Trek: Stardate Collection, King Kong: Ultimate Edition (never saw the extended cut, have the theatrical on DVD) and Parasite off Amazon.

I recently bought 2 2DS XLs from GameStop online. Never again. My total was $300 and they charged me twice. I contacted customer support and they said they do it to verify your billing method and they won't refund me for at least a week. Nowhere do they warn you of this practice during the order process or payment process. So I'm out $600 now. I learned my lesson. My husband and I are both now boycotting GameStop.

A book about discipleship, some soda crystals, deodorant, razors and the weekly big shop because at last Tesco has delivery slots after 5 months of nothing (I'm looking at you, Covid).

That's not a common practice, it was a mistake and now they're lying about it.

Yea, that's what I thought. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a hold of my bank yet to cancel the charge so I will probably end up disputing it after it's done pending. I think what bugs me the most is I've talked to 3 different people and GameStop's website and everyone refuses to refund me.

Bought a few little plants to brighten up my bedroom/office.

I also rescued a fuchsia. I say rescued because it was a bit of a reject - it was reduced to £3 and looked a little bedraggled, and was the only one of it's type left because nobody want to buy it. But with a little TLC it's already looking healthier and with a little time I reckon it'll be great.

I'm a bit of a crazy plant lady.

My Super Shredder arrived a few days ago and holy sh*t it's beautiful. The size, the detail, and design is just so eye catching and really fills out my TMNT shelf quite nice. Easily my favorite NECA figure at the moment.

Also got a great deal on a couple of books on Amazon and finally got Infinity War to round out the Infinity Gauntlet story. I know there's a third one, but from what I've read online, it doesn't seem that essential and really didn't interest me too much either.

Legion of Superheroes was one of the many great shows from the mid to late 2000s that got cancelled way too soon and was just recently released on blu-ray for absolutely no reason at all and I had to strike on that immediately. Also got a Zelda themed travel case for my Switch and found RAGE 2 for really cheap.

This was actually a birthday gift but it just arrived today. Been waiting a long time for this one, but damn that steel book is sexy.

No photos, but bought new clothes for my middle son, crisps for me (which I am already regretting) and a phone top up for my not-very-good-at-adulting grown up daughter.

Some expenses never end, it would appear...

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remake for PS4.

As much as I love the other figures, their monster designs are just phenomenal. The mutant enemies are easily the highlight of the 80s cartoon line and after how incredible Super Shredder turned out, I absolutely cannot wait for Tokka and Rahzar.

Treated myself to some new eyeshadow pallettes. Now I actually have to learn how to use them.

Oh, and remember the fuchsia I mentioned in my previous post in this thread? This just shows what three and a half weeks of TLC can do for a plant. :)

My most recent frivolous purchase was Minecraft Dungeons. It reeks of Diablo lol. But it's a pretty fun twist on Minecraft and has a much higher replay value in my opinion. The story is pretty short, I think my husband and I beat it in just a couple hours even while looking for secrets, but it's got tons of difficulty escalations to make up for it. Also a really cool and genuinely terrifying final boss fight lol. I have a friend who is afraid of Enderman and I can't wait to show him the final boss fight :D.

My most recent non frivolous purchase was for my groceries and I got stuff to make some spicy guacamole for the first time in my life. Suggestions are appreciated ;).

Xbox series s pre order.

My middle son got a disability grant for gaming products and over lockdown he has been learning how to socialise through online gaming...his speech has improved, his grasp of social etiquette has improved and (most importantly) he's made friends for the first time in his life. So the latest Xbox should be the perfect Christmas present.

I finally did it, guys, I made the jump to 4K. Mind you, I don't have a 4K TV or Blu-Ray player YET, I'm future proofing for when I get a PS5 and TV upgrade. I have the digital codes I can watch in 4K on my laptop and standard Blu-Rays I can watch on my TV/PS4 in the meantime.

But yeah, I made sure to upgrade The Matrix and T2, which were, ironically, the first 2 films I ever bought on DVD. I might start upgrading some of my other DVDs in 4K as well.
