here's one for ya,
Do you prefer/own a laptop or desktop, and what are you using right now to browse this forum
I'm currently in bed on my laptop watching southpark on my desktop :p
so as you could already guess i have both and to top it all off my desktop is hooked up to a 32 inch tv, so i've got a nice big 32 inch "monitor" and this is my primary monitor for my desktop now, which makes for some sweet sweet viewing.
both are HP, gotta love me some HP xD

Laptop, I lay about all over the place with my laptop, bed, couch, porch, carpet, parkbench, cemetery, on the bus, dancefloor. I dont think I can go back to a proper desktop and chair. I was never a big PC gamer so I don't miss that much.

my old desktop gets pretty dusty now, i only really use it to stream stuff on, so i don't have to have my media player in small screen on laptop while browsing the internetz.

Desktop For Me, But That's Because I Have So Many Things That Take Up A Lot Of Memory. I Would Be Open To Owning A Laptop But For On The Go Stuff.

I prefer desktops because you can cram so much hard candy into them. But I have used only a laptop since I got my own place, desktops takes up too much space.

I don't really need laptop mobility but it's nice. That and size is the only advantage for laptops, but it's just enough to make me choose laptop over desktop. The big disadvantages with laptops are that you can't upgrade them much and they are so darn expensive if you want high performance.

If I had enough space I would buy a powerful desktop for gaming and buy a cheap laptop for mobility. But I can't have both.

I haven't had a desktop in years. A portable computer is the most crucial tool for a university student.

That, or my brain. Haven't decided.
That's the problem of having both real intelligence and artificial intelligence, you don't know which is more important! :D I would choose the brain if I were you.

I've got both. But all of the memory on the desktop got used by the antivirus, so i use the laptop for internet
LOL, I know that problem. You don't happen to use an old version of Norton, do you? It was nicknamed the Yellow Elephant. ;) Sometimes I've wondered what would be worse, continue with Norton or get 100 trojans. :p

lol! I didn't know that.
No, it was the one with the umbrella... Avira.

Well...I'm using a laptop now...But it's not mine...I actually prefer desktop...Not even for gaming, though I do do that ocassionaly...I just, like the over all feel of a desktop better...More...Inviting...When the world is controlled by technology that only keeps getting smaller and smaller, even a desktop computer can remind you of a simpler time lol...

my laptop broke 2 days ago,,so until it's been serviced by the good folks at HP, i'm on desktop running ubuntu
