Operation Raccoon City Just got the game

I actually disagree...I mean, if you're a die hard then you should be able to understand how much of a TRUE RE game it really is...All the callbacks to the original games, old characters stayed the same, new characters fit in just fine, Raccoon City got a new 3D make-over...Everything considered this game is amazing for the old school fans, so long as they are willing to accept things will never go back to the way they used to be...I'm one of those old school fans and I have accepted that...

hmm well it seems we'll never agree on this then lol, i've played RE since the very beginning and this is one of the worst entries..
i wouldn't say it's a true RE, i mean it's just a trigger happy run and gun, there's hardly excitement (not to mention it's far to easy even on pro) and it doesn't have much of a replay value...even online IMO.

it's very short, and if you really understand how AI should work then the AI in this game does suck a bit (well quite a lot to be honest, you're better off playing public so people can join)

No. Just no the AI is REALLY not that bad this game is so good that I havnt even tried online yet.
PS I am a die hard RE fan if you got XBox my GT is RE FAN 85

This really makes me sad to read. I know obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I meanI've played resident evil since the beginning and I love it, but there's so many better games out there.....especially when compiling a top 5 of all time list.

I'm with you...

I don't think there is a better series out there at ALL other than RE...But when compiling a top 5 list I don't believe in having several of the same game series in it...Just list it as a series...For example...

1. Resident Evil
2. Street Fighter
3. Sonic the Hedgehog (But no ALL of them, cause it goes about fifty fifty with Sonic lol)
4. Super Smash Bros
5. Legend of Zelda

But I can pick one game from each of the series and the best of each of those would be my top five list...

There's nothing really wrong with your list...Because I'm right there with you...no other series of games in the WORLD lays even a FINGER on RE...But at the same time, you can just say the RE series as a whole is your favorite, and list other things for your 2-5...Like I did...RE is my number 1, and Street Fighter is my number 2...But RE is still SO far ahead of SF that even though it's number two, it's not comparable...

2. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
3. Okami
4. Oddworld franchise
5. Dead Space franchise

I still love games like Uncharted, Crysis, Sly Raccoon, the PS2 and earlier Castlevanias, a couple of Final Fantasies, Demon's and Dark Souls, and a whole lot more...
