how do you think resident evil should end?

I say it should end like Harry Potter did... You don't know who's going to sacrifice themselves next for one another. An epic battle will proceed and a lot of lovable characters will die... People you thought were villains were just trying to help the good guys out the whole time (think Snape from Harry Potter... Maybe that's Ada.) and everyone on the good side is a hero in some way or another. Every series is Good vs. Evil, including RE. You can't help but have that, there's hardly ever neutral characters and when there is they're typically pretty boring. RE is pretty black and white as well.

There should definitely be an epilogue after too, telling us what the characters are up to and how everything turned out after the "evil" was defeated. Maybe even leave it on a cliff hanger some 20 years later after the characters have children. Somewhere deep in a cave in the mountains is one of the Wesker children still living, and still wanting to destroy the universe. Then you'll pan out and you'll see he has a whole gang of people working for him and the cave is in fact a facility as he climbs down a ladder into the underground corporation that's still alive and kicking. *Dramatic music*
