I'm doing a little better. I'm starting to accept what's about to happen...it still isn't easy though. I think the hardest part of it all is watching my best friend watch the only father he's ever known, whither away. Technically, this is his stepfather, but my bestie never really knew his real dad...mostly because he's a dead beat dad.
