Here are a list of Game Mode ideas i came up with also comment on which ones you like and your own ideas.

Survival.
4 people, any character and customizable weapon loadouts.
Weapon Loadouts can consist of One Handgun and one of either.
.ShotGuns
.Machine Pistols
.Magnums
.Machine Guns
.Rifles
Beat time Limits to unlock better variants of weapon classes like the S&W M29 Magnum and beat the time of 5 mins to unlock the L.Hawk Magnum and a time Limit of 10 Mins to unlock the S&W M500. to unlock these you must use the standard magnum or rifle. ( Primary being the Handgun and same rules Aplly to those of secondary unlocks.
The Enemies are Constant Waves of Majini and every minuite that goes by a strong boss comes out such as executioner, wesker, uroborus and it gets tougher as every minute goes by,
and the maps are old maps such as public assembely but larger same with village and mine. And special Character Unlocks such as The BSAA soldiers like Dechant, Dave and GasMask variant and Krauser From Resident Evil 4.



Classic Mercenaries.
It is the return of the old Mercenaries that was first shown on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
But the plot is the BSAA escaping from the Uroborus that you see at the beggining. And you have a time limit to reach the other side.

This is practicly what you get in RE5 GOLD but I'm still wondering! Do one get "No Mercy Mode"

No. It will only contain what you just putted up.

However they may put No Mercy in the pack before release, but there is little chance since it is close to the release date.

I wouldn't mind to play No Mercy, it would give me a whole new level of challenge since there are more enemies and raises the kill cap to 400.

EDIT: I was thinkin about having this game mode.

Mercenaries Extreme: Up to 8 players on it and it is basically just Mercenaries game mode, but raising the kill cap to 3000 enemies.
 
no mercy may be impossible as consols may not be able to handle that amount of enemies, maybe an extenden mercs with more enemies to kill and more time,

Hunk
-MP5 Submachinegun (critical headshot 85%, holds 150 Rounds Max)
-machinegun ammo 50 rounds
-harpoon launcher (holds 15 sharp harpoons, peirce enemy and they continue to bleed till almost dead, when here , Hunk can do a special melee attack entitled ,"decapitate", which brings me to his next weapon)
-Ninjato (A short Katana that can cut majini's arms off or even behead them)
-Smoke Grenades (make it hard for enemies to hit him, thrown weapons always miss, even arrows)

Billy Coen
-Tommygun (50 round max, always headshot)
-Tommygun barrel (the only type of ammo you can use with this gun *rare*)
-M9 Handgun (basicly BSAA Chris's M92F)
-handgun ammo 20 rounds
-Green herb x2 mixed

Ada Wong
-Punisher (critical 75%, 20 round maxed)
-handgun ammo 40 rounds
-TMP (100 rounds max, critical 60%, Double Reload time)
-TMP ammo 50 rounds
-First Aid Spray
-Smoke Grenades x 5

More Features for new mercs

-Majini can have limbs removed by powerfull guns, but doing so doubles their attack power, wild animals are more dangerous when injured , so they probaly would too (arms can be popped off disarming them, legs make them crawl and then there's the headshot

-Birkin is a new mini boss

-Regenerators are back (iron maidens in prisan)

-Ganando skins for enemies, for a more varied game

-knife is More powerful (like RE4)

-lickers are stronger

-enemy count is 200 instead of 150, with an aditional 5 on screen along with the regular amount

-combos last forever when you have combo bonus and when knocked down

-wesker's Tiger Uppercut and Mustang Kick are 1 hit kill

-Chris's Straight Punch is 1 hit kill

-sheva's back kick is 1 hit kill

-Jill's Sweep kick and high kick kill in one hit

-Unique enemies appear at random at default there are 200 majini plus 30 unique enemies that are randomly placed (lickers, regenerators,Cerberus, and others

-Nemesis and Tyrant Appear as the prisan bosses

-more chickens , again to add to score and are the only thing to give healing items,

-spiders are in the monarch room and can poison you , slowing you and taking some life , yet lasting only 15 seconds though

-herb patches for both red and green hidden in the levels in random places (2 herbs each)

-you get 5000 points if you can kill ashley , who appears randomly in all levels, she dies in one hit, but runs low to the ground, and appears in a random spawn and runs to the furthest
 
I think Survival Mode exists already, or is about to exist, in RE5: Gold Edition. It was part of the menu updates in RE5. You could see the video in the LIN/DE thread, just a few posts below the first post.
