Favorite live show?

Meg

So bin ich eben
What was the best live show you've ever seen? Whether you were there or only saw it on TV/DVD. It doesn't have to be a concert either. A play, musical, stand up, etc. works too.

My favorite shouldn't come as a surprise, but this woman is freaking fantastic live.

This song in particular was so well done. The album version is very musically simple. I wondered what she and her band would do with it live and it came out amazing. :)

I went to see the Phantom of the Opera quite a few years ago when it came to Toronto... it was phenomenal and gave me goosebumps. RENT did as well - I actually got to see it with some of the original casts members.

Either Woodstock '99

Def Leppard In the Round

Or Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Montreux Jazz Festival in '85

Didn't have the pleasure of seeing any of these three in person but I'll always wish I was there. :D

Then there was actually seeing Def Leppard live in 2011 and Aerosmith my freshman year in high school and I've always wanted to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra live...there's just too much stuff to chose from, don't make me decide! :(

Iron Maiden baby!!!! I think I would really love to see Jean Michel Jarre live too. His concerts are legendary.

I think my favorite has to be Kevin Smith in atlanta. No question. But Wierd Al is up there for number two mainly because of his fat suit he dressed up in for his song. Dude is crazy.

I guess my favorite real band performance would have to be the smashing pumpkins in 08' took a pic with billy but i cant find it and i hate my life because of that fact

Avenue Q. That was some of the best/worst/stupidest music I have heard in my life.

Whitest man on earth doing a soul performance. Hilarious. Awesome.

You don't have to get too far into this one to see it. The entire band freezes on queue and holds the position without moving a muscle... Right in the middle of playing a song.

Well...I met Weird Al and saw him live...That will always be the greatest that I've gone and seen...It was amazing...But Guitarchestra and Smash Mouth are really close...

When it comes to T.V....Saturday Night Live...Always will be my favorite...

As for who I would KILL to see...Green Day...I want to see them live SO bad...I've watched so much live footage...Hours upon hours...And their live performances seem so phenomenal...I just REALLY want to...

You met Weird Al? That's awesome! :D He's always been something of an inspiration to my comedy. Especially when I was younger and listened to his stuff a lot.

I've been to see Brendan Grace a few times. He's an irish comedian and he's hilarious.

Haven't been at one of their shows yet but I love Metallica's S & M (Symphony & Metallica, not the other s&m :p) concert. It's epic.
