Creative ways to make a presentation interesting

So, I have a 10 minute presentation coming up tomorrow - I'm not really nervous about it because I know just about all there is to know on my research topic - but my problem is that the material is really specific and thus can be a bit dry to people who might now know alot about it (it's on performance of agricultural labour relations boards). What are a couple of good ways to get the class involved and make a presentation interactive/interesting? Something creative/cute/funny - in that kinda ballpark.

I need some kind of antic!

Pop culture references help out a lot. Consider what YouTube videos could help you demonstrate your point while making people laugh. This also extends to using comic strips and political cartoons that either demonstrate or help to explain your point. South park and Calvin and Hobbes are great places to start looking. I think there's one Calvin and Hobbes you could use where he tries planting a money tree with his allowance.

Depending on your angle, either one of these would be a good place to start.

Connect everyones heads to a device that dishes out electric shocks to people who yawn or try to look away... and put their fingers in mouse traps so they don't fidget.

You can then conduct your presentation in Dominatrix attire with your handy little pocket sized Midget in a gimp mask for an assistant.

Make fun of yourself...I kid you not...Every time I have a presentation, I treat it like a time to give information, while throwing my own Comedy Central Roast...People will listen just to hear what you have to degrade yourself...While its not ideal if you have low self esteem, it truly does work...Besides, you don't look like the type with low self esteem Femme...
