Lol, that's at the end of a corridor. It has a big window, a coffee table and some pictures (in the Remake, they added a door at that part). It's close to the dining room and the piano/bar room. It's just a useless sitting corner. You must be tired because it takes you 3 hours walking around to get into the lab. That was probably meant to let the workers rest a bit. I think they should have added a coffee & a snack machine there.

Lol totally or extended it into a hallway that atually leads somewhere. lol i can only imagine the purpose that corner served.
