I've just counted the names of the members who were online and found out that they were 16. However the "Currently Active Users" area says that there are 17 members online. So let's say that I want to spam this forum like hell. If the number of the names equals the "members online" I can easily assume that there is no mod online and start spamming.

I think that this little problem must be fixed

I don't think I understood the problem, what is it?
We don't have problems with spammers that I know of.

I'm a bit unsure of why this is a concern - it seems like a far stretch to me. 99% of spammers aren't going to count all the members on the 'Who's Online' list, I really don't think they have that kind of patience. They do it regardless of who is or is not online. One of the staff will see it sooner or later and remove it. Steve or Angel may think otherwise, but I don't really see much of a problem here.

The "Who's Online" list isn't actually always telling the truth - some of us can go invisible and be active without anyone knowing. I myself am invisible all the time. It's as close as I get to being a ninja without denying all that is pirate within me :D

It really doesn't make a difference because if someone is gonna spam, they're gonna spam. Even if they count and see that some people are on invisible, how will that stop them? One of those invisible people might be a mod. If they aren't, the spam will have to be taken care of whenever a mod does come online. If they are invisible, it can be taken care of right away if they are online.

Not sure I understand your question.

Anyway, this thread turn out to be a disappointement. I guess I'm too excessive. Maybe I should work for the secret services or something.
