I'm hoping someone here can help a sista' out.
I got a new iPhone for Christmas. I had taken it to my cell phone/internet provider to have the data from my old phone moved over to my new phone as had happened last time, but they told me to use iCloud/iTunes instead. I do this - but it's caused quite a bit of a hassle for me.
I had to change the email attached to my appleID, since the old one was a defunct college address. This works for my phone so I have no problem with any passwords on my phone, but my computer is proving to be a different story.
I can no longer sign on to my admin account using the password I've had for... well, ever. I can't get past the login screen (except to sign in as a guest). It's now asking for the iCloud password. I know the iCloud password, but my computer won't accept it... leading me to believe that it's still, for one reason or another, using the old email address (hence a false username).
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Edit: I have also tried resetting the admin password via safe mode, but that doesn't work either.
