A Utah mother could spend her life in jail after allegedly trying to sell her 13 yr old daughter's virginity for $10,000, prosecutors told ABC News.com.

Felicia McClure, 32, was charged Tuesday with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor. Police said that McClure's boyfriend tipped them off after he found text messages between the woman and the man offering to pay for sex with the girl.

McClure had repeatedly been in touch with the man, whom police have identified only as "Don." The two adults took the girl to a Victoria Secret store in which she modeled thong underwear and bras for Don, according to Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill.

According to court documents McClure admitted to police that she offered to sell her daughter's virginity to him for $10,000.

McClure also admitted to taking pictures of her daughter and selling them to another adult man, identified only as "Will." Two of the photos that McClure allegedly sent show the girl's entire buttocks, according to documents.

According to prosecutors, McClure asked her daughter if she was willing to lose her virginity to Don. The girl initially agreed to her mother's request, but later "told her mother 'no' and that she didn't feel comfortable having sex," said Gill.

ABC News does not identify victims of sexual assault.

Gill said prosecutors had not yet identified Don, the man accused of trying to buy the girl for sex, or Will, the man accused of buying pornographic images of the girl, because "they cannot comment on a pending investigation."

"We're diligently following up on the men. For now we've chosen to go after the mother," he said.

Aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first degree felony for which McClure is charged on two counts, carries in Utah a maximum sentence of life.
Had the girl been 14 instead of 13 her mother could not be charged with a first degree felony, Gill said.

McClure is currently in the Salt Lake County Jail. Her bail was set at $250,000. She has does not yet have a lawyer.

Man, Earth is one ****ed up place. I don't know what's more disturbing; the mere fact she's selling her daughters viriginity, or that she's selling her daughter's virginity for ten grand.
 
I Personally Think That The Three Involved Should Be Taken Out And Hung Because As Far As I'm Concerned You Don't Mess With A Child's Innocence. There Are Plenty Of Other Women Out There Who Want It. Call Me Harsh Or What You Will But That's The Way I Feel.

I say that in this case, the daughter herself should decide what should happen to that b'tch and co. Because if it was my mom doing this to me (what an image, bleh), I wouldn't want her to hang. I'd want her to suffer slowly and painfully in the cell, just like that woman from V for Vendetta, but worse. And I'd want her to eventually get cancer and die without any medical attention. Just look at her face. What an ugly psyco!
 
Hmph...Some people eh...I mean if a child dosnt have a mother or mother figure to look after them then what do they have...but this is worse becuse it goes beyond a mother figure not looking after her...its the mother figure setting her up for the biggest mistake of the girls life AND doing it for the worlds most filthy motivator...money...I wonder if there is even a father figure in the picture, seeing as they didnt mention one i don't think so...so this mom was probably a wh--e with this girl as an unplanned pregnancy, though thats just my speculation...
 
As I Said Call Me Harsh Or What You Will But My Biggest Problem With A Cell Is The Fact That Inmates Use It Against The People They Torment. How You Ask? For Murderers They Sit There Behind Bars Constantly Appealing Their Case To Prevent Their Punishment Causing More Pain To The Family, For Other Repeat Offenders It's More Like A Hotel. They Have Their Food, Bedding, Clothes And Everything Provided For Free. I'm A Big Fan Of Having Every Single Inmate That Spends Time In Jail Pay Money Back To The State For Time Spent, The Only Exception Of Course Would Be If You Spent Time In Jail And Were Later Proven Innocent. It Would Be A Good Deterrent As To Having Repeat Offenders I Think.

Most Criminals Are Sent To Jail And End Up Coming Out A Smarter Criminal, Take For Example George Jung. He Was Sent To Prison On Mary Jane Charges, Gets Out And Sets Up One Of The World's Biggest Coke Empires. The Whole Point Of Jail, As I See It Is To Go To Jail Lose Your Freedom And All Of The Privileges You Had On The Outside, Sit And Think About What You Did, Change And Get Out And Do Better. There Are A Few People Who Actually Do Change But The Habits Are Harder To Break Than They Have Willpower And Fall Right Back Into The Same Patterns.

I Also Think That For The People Who Make A Concerted Effort To Change Need Some Sort Of A Follow Up Program To Help Them Find Their Way, Of Course We Could Just Avoid This Whole Thing And Focus On Proper Education. I Don't Know About Anyone Else's Country But Here Our Prison System Is Almost At Full Capacity At Just About All Times.

I Know I Got A Bit Off Topic On Some Things But I Have A Big Problem With Putting Repeat Offenders In Jail And The Two Repeat Offenders I Am Talking About In This Case Are The Two Prospects, The One Named Don And The Other Supposedly Named Will, If They Didn't Get It From This Little Girl And Not Have Something Done To Them They Would Go Out And Get It From Someone Else. I'm Not Saying That The Mother Should Get Any Slack At All Either.
 
Crime would probably soon drop if you recieved the death sentence for any serious crime committed, like murder, rape, fraud, ect.

This woman must be out of her mind and needs some form of help, or maybe life in a mental institution.

Nah, no research have made a conclusion like this. On the contrary, from what I read the states in the US that allow capital punishment have higher crime rates.

Anyway if someone really wants solve a problem he'll have to focus on the root of the problem not the branches. In this case I think that would be education and (second) poverty.

Hmm.. Perhaps. Though you would think the punishment of a death sentence would make people think twice before committing a crime, effectively lowering crime rates. (wishful thinking?)

And I agree with your second point. The problem will keep resurfacing unless it's root is dealt with. In this case, if it wasn't for greedy bastards like the MP's, poverty wouldn't be such a large problem anymore. The quality of schools and their standards would'nt be as ****-poor either, atleast thats the way I see things in the UK.

Eh.. All I can say to this is you can only teach those that wanna learn and give jobs to those who wanna work. A fairly large chunk (by no means do I mean the majority) of the US's unemployment rate is actually due to people gathering unemployment and just flat out refusing to work. Why work when they will pay you to do nothing? It's bullsh't.
 
Seriously this story has no shock value to me since the news reports this kind of thing like 3 times an episode.

Referring to this fine lady just let her rot.I don't like prisons, i don't think we should have them because i believe throwing someone in a cage and expecting them to come out obedient is an extremely immature and unintelligent approach to solving a problem.But for prisons to change, our whole system would have to change too so currently for this model it needs prisons so please just leave her in there so she doesn't come out again bitter and angry.

Now that poor kid is probably going to wind up a wacko like her mother.If a human being doesn't redeem him/herself they are doomed to repeat the past.
 
I say they do these three (the mother, 'Don', and 'Will') what they were going to do to bin Laden: stone them. Put them in the middle of town and have them stoned.
