America... What happened to you?

And, yes it's pretty much a given that governments won't have enough money for eductaion and healthcare when they spend so much on warfare...
That, and how much do they spend on all the intelligence services? They have 16 different agencies I think, and some years ago only one organization alone employed around 30,000 people. It was ECHELON if I remember correctly. How much people do all those agencies employ? 150,000? 300,000? More? And that are people that don't produce anything, they just snoop around and gather information.

It is BS that all of that is just to make America safe. Much of it is actually industrial espionage. If they want to keep America safe, they should stop thinking of themselves as the big nanny that has to watch over everybody else. If they start minding their own business, fewer people will hate them and they will not need to spend so much resources on security.

How can it POSSIBLY be a good idea if nearly the ENTIRE nation is against it? .
Do you have any poll numbers or any sort of quantitative data to back this up? Because there a number of sources (such as September Pew Research, CNN Opinion Research, the ITO) that say around 52-59% of those polled disapprove of Obamacare - and this INCLUDES nearly a quarter of people who disapprove of the bill because it isn't comprehensive enough. Saying things like 'the entire nation is against it!' is not really legitimate unless you can back it up with facts. The public appears divided on this issue - it is not unanimous either way.

IDK about the rest of the world, but in America, he is actually compared to Hitler...
I'd hate to think that America is that ignorant. Obama has mandatory healthcare insurance. Hitler had mass death and torture camps. To compare the two is repulsive.

It's not just about the healthcare issue. His approval rating is dropping by the day. I did check that poll last night, and he was at a 43% approval rating, with his all time HIGHEST being 69% and his all time low being 36% approval. All in all, his is NOT a favorable president. And Hitler didn't start OFF his leadership as a tyrannical dictator. That was a master plan though. Hitler's early work was to gain the affection of the people so he could mold them all to his way of thinking. Obama's plan in a nutshell. Again, I'm a Democrat, just like Mr. Barack Obama, so it's not as if I"m a hardcore, fascist redneck republican that hates him just because of the color of his skin and the fact that he is a Democrat. And another reason the nation is divided is because no matter HOW wrong some of the things he has done are, he nearly always gets the support of the black individuals. That is NOT racism. That is fact. I've met ONE black male out of the many I know who didn't support Obama. Even the University of Rolla professor I know (University of Rolla being the second highest rated engineering school in the country) is a DIE HARD Republican. His name is Robert and he is black man. When I asked him who he voted for he said Obama, simply because he was black. That is NOT right. However, when the voting for Obama's second term came around, Robert flat told me, he was NOT making that mistake again.

Here is a link to the Rasmussen Report that I'm sure you saw, however, I'm willing to bet I can find a poll on the statistics of black citizens in America, and a poll of the support of Obama based on color, if you would like me to pull that as well, proving that the true deciding factor in all of this is indeed race. It's sickening is what it is.

Again, I am not a racist in any means, and I truly do apologize if I came off as offensive to anybody on here about this subject. I know it's a touchy issue, and I really am trying to be careful with how things are said and portrayed. That being said, also feel like I can truly express to you guys how hard this is for America as I am the EPITOME of the average everyday American. I get up in the morning. Go to work for an average wage of $10/hour for 8 hours a day, five days a week. I have the normal financial responsibilities as an average American, such as Rent, Electric, Water, Gas, Accounting for Taxes being taken from my check (roughly 15%), I'm soon to be married, and have been providing for my partner for a long time now. She and I are about to have a baby so I'm financially responsible for the preparation of that, as well as when it actually does come. All in all, this is the average of most Americans, and I can vouch for several others who feel the same way. All in the same position as me.
