ok, so whats the deal? she loves him or she loves him not? it is so frustrating and confusing to the point of insanity. I know there are probably a million threads about this but mine might be a little different...here's why;

what do you think Ada's motives towards leon are? use your psychology and sociology skills people! not just by in game interactions but reactions when she is away from leon and non verbal ques, they can speak words louder then actually expressing sound. their relationship has been bothering fans for years, mainly for the Leon fan girls who think he is getting taken advantage of. I want you guys to give me a good evaluation of her non verbal cues and reactions to Leon that others might not be able to guess, I think i found out a lot about her feelings toward Leon in this game but I wont revile them until I hear what u guys observed. Capcom isn't all cold and one sided as u guys expect; i think there is a lot more beyond the surface to the way they work and develop their characters. like cinema, you have to see the little things and subliminal ques to get the big picture at the end. Also if u can add any top moments that show or have diminished their love interest ( or lack there of) throughout the series. I think its time they set it strait lol I know I know, its a broken record and I should be worrying about My personal love interests but I thought their relations were interesting and I think that Miss Wong is un like any Feme Fetal we have ever seen, even in cinema. thanks for your time, much appreciated

Well, I think she may feel something for Leon, seeing as that Wesker ordered her numerous times to kill him and she had plenty of opportunities to do so, yet she didn't pull the trigger. Also, as I observed in RE4, when Wesker told her that he sent Kruaser to kill Leon, she stopped in her tracks, and seemed to have a concerned look on her face. She even gave Leon a means of escape off the island after she set off the bombs. So she defiantly doesn't want Leon to die.

Also, in RE2, Leon B, she could of just left the lab. She had the G-virus and there was less than five minutes until the lab blew up, but instead she side-tracked to throw Leon a rocket launcher to kill Mr. X. In Leon A, even though she held him at gunpoint, you find out after the cut scene that her gun wasn't even loaded. If she didn't have feelings for him, then why would she try so hard to save him?

I believe that Ada may have a fear of commitment, as that would explain her constantly leaving Leon standing there as she escapes. Plus life as a spy probably doesn't allow her a lot of downtime to get *coughs* "physical" with Leon.

It's definitely implied that she cares for him, but the writers over at Capcom make it a little hard to dissect sometimes. As mentioned in RE4 she stops dead in her tracks, with the concerned look on her face when Wesker drops the bomb. Even when she speaks his name when she catches him running around, it has an undertone that sounds like its more than "Hey! This is my Buddy caught up in all this! Time to help him out!" That, disobeying orders, and basically saving his ass a handful of times are pretty obvious.

I haven't payed much attention to body language, but there's the cutscene where he attacks her. The only reason I bring it up is because she extends an arm out in a caring manner, right before he almost chokes her to death(lolz.) It's not much, but I found it to possibly being a subtle gesture to show she let her guard down for a second.

My guess, which is as good as anyone's really, is that she does have some sort of "feelings" for Leon, but it almost cost her her life back in Raccoon City. She knows better than to let her guard down, cause it could potentially risk everything.

As for the whole Leon/Ada dynamic, as interesting and entertaining it can be, mainly because it shows that Leon is human after all, its becoming a little tiresome. I'm not saying I want a white chapel wedding ending to any RE game, just c'mon now. This should be resolved by now lolz.

very good points, she has always made an effort..but there is something about her that lacks complete sympathy for him to the point where it is not normal. like her diary log when she talks about Leon in Re4. She says that Leon is a part of her game or something. Meaning she is using him and playing him to get the sample, I think at that time in her life it was strictly business, only in the later title (Res 6) is where she starts to show more subliminal emotions towards him. I know she showed a lot of emotion towards him in Re2 and she saved him several times in 4...but her diary led me to believe her job was more important. " I'll try and make Leon think he is a key player in this" and " ill flirt with him to put him where he stands" that is not exact words but that is what she means. I think it goes up to down to up with Leon. for ex: in 2 she showed great love towards him saying she doesn't want to loose him and so forth, then 4 came along and she was cold as hell towards him and really testing his survival skills to the point of death. ex: giving him the keys with minutes to spare! but then in 6 she showed Leon that she cared again...almost like a human in love. This is the first time we can see her act this way with realistic graphics so her face is more reveling.

that is where the meaning of my question comes in about "non verbal ques". in the scene after she helps Leon with Simmons, I find it interesting how the she directly turned away after Leon glanced at her. girls don't to that unless they don't want the other person to see their true feelings about them, I think she was doing that for a reason. and the scene where she sends leon a message directly after that; what message did she send him? and why? was it a love note? lol before that, she gave leon the look of love and leon did the same, u can tell (I sound like such a chick I know) but its interesting she did act really giddy like a child when she said "its kinda fun to watch" very cool moment, it showed a humanly side to her we never seen. Sorry for such a long rant

As for her using him to achieve her personal goals, definitely. But if she was straight up using him, do you think she would help him out that much? It just seems too much of a point for her to go out of her way more than she would for say a comrade, or just an object she sees to attain her own goals without any regard for them personally.

Also, not to double post, but I rewatched the Ada's Report(thanks, Youtube!), and I found it funny that she does say "I'll do whatever it takes to keep him in his place", implying the whole using him thing. But at the same time out of all the people she talks about, he's the only one she speaks of in high regard. Make up your mind, man lolz.

here is what i think, based off the Ada on RE6 (during Leon's campain and Ada's)

*Ada mentions Leon is cute

*(take note on) Leon's facial expression after Chris radios him in that Ada Wong is Dead

*the end cut-scene to Leon's campain is titled "The Trouble with Women"

*There is a file on RE6 confirming Leon and Ada's relationship is "complicated"

*both Leon and Ada during sometime in their campain say "Back for More?"

with those of being, to me this warrants as a hinting (something of this) that there is a "relationship" between Leon and Ada and "it's complicated".

yeah ur right they both kinda kept their distance based on the job, and ada was flirty with him before the boat ride in re4. "need a ride, handsome" lol as for her diary log, yes she does speak of him in high regard "practically a genius" so yeah, she does seem to like him...a lot. I know they both have more than a thing for each other, I just wanted to hear other opinions on the subject. I mean, the fact that they haven't gotten married by now is just crazy lmao. I still suspect that she is stringing him on a little too hard still, but I think she wants to keep him alive so she can have him when shes 80! haha nothin like some bony old smushin btwn the sheets. and as for Leon, i think he would be willing to put in the towel and leave his high paying job if ada were to sweep him off his feet and ask to run away together. So that's why I think she hasnt tried yet....because she knows he'll always be waiting for her. ( Back for more) she holds all the power in their complex relationship.

I'm not sure if Damnation is cannon or not, but I think that this shows that they do at least have some kind of feelings for one another.

She saves him, he saves her. They both realise they don't want each other dead

Between re4 and damnation
It's implied in damnation that they had a sexy night together but she left half way through or something which annoyed Leon respectively

Damnation
She remarks "when are they gonna finish where they left off that night"
They have witty little conversations in which she warns Leon the town will be "purged"
Later she helps Leon escape from some tyrants and states "he owes her"

Re6
They state that the relationship between them is "complicated" and ada expresses her feelings (sort of) in her campaign by er... Talkin to herself. Also Witty conversations of something between them like whn she gives Leon the ring and says "don't get any ideas"
At the end they're constantly saving each other and she leaves a rocket with a kiss on it.
The end leaves it open for Leon to have reason to see ada again, even if its just to give her her secret makeup case thing.

I think they want to be together but want some excitement between them
She likes being chased <- that kind of thing xD

Well next time you play Leon's campaign
Before you pick up the RPG at the helicopter, look at the missile tip on the rocket and you see a lipstick kiss on it. You don't actually see Ada do that but she put the rocket there and I'm sure it's implied she did it

And when Leon goes to save her when fighting with Simmons, he has a sad expression but one Ada wakes up , corner of his lips is curled in a smile. Next when she is getting up she places her hand on his and they behaved like that they do this all of the time.
