Yes, the lack of support is a problem and will most definitely elongate the struggle of the gay rights movement and I agree that it is mind boggling that being homosexual is actually punishable by death - that's just crazy. I say live and let live, your sexual orientation has absolutely no direct effect on my life whatsoever so why would I care? If it floats your boat and you're content, why would I put up a big fuss over it? *shrugs* It's a shame other people don't see it that way.
I must ask, since you're very passionate about this subject, how do you feel about all of the celebrities who come out in support of the gay community? (Not the ones who are actually in support, mind you, the ones who are obviously doing it to further their popularity?) How did you feel about the Miss America candidate - Miss California, I think - who answered honestly on her views of gay marriage? I found her to be very truthful, honest and polite about it but I noticed that many people found her to be harsh and a *****.
You know, I actually have noticed that many high school Christians are rather intolerable and the people that I went to high school with who had before then been enrolled in the local Christian Academy were either very prim, proper and rather anti-social or completely the opposite. From the other side of the coin, how different is a Christian/private high schooling experience than a public one?
Sorry, I know I ask a lot of questions but I've never really conversed with someone who's been so political before, nor anyone who can talk about their Christian/private schooling experience seemingly without any biases.
