I do feel a need to point out, and maybe this is mommy moderator speaking - I don't know, but to some of our younger members here - please don't get the wrong idea from what you are reading in this thread. The people posting here are all adults and are thereby able to make their own decisions, but everyone here knows that smoking is a very dangerous habit to pick up and by no means do we encourage you to adopt the same habit. Just the opposite, we'd recommend that you never touch them. There are reasons cigarette come with warnings, and its important to make educated, healthy decisions for yourselves. You only live once and you're only given one body, so treat it well.
Like I said - this was not a message to anyone here... more for the odd 12 yr old who might open this thread and think smoking is cool.

Smoking is the biggest waste of money, also when you go for jogs bike rides ect you feel the need to spit out all the nasty tar from your throat, it decreases stamina ergh ... its the worst. Saying that I dont know what drives me to it. But well said, this aint a promotion thing, this is a burden we all suffer from.

Myself, and my fellow cool cats at www.Residentevilnews.com are sitting here in a dimly lit silky smoke filled lounge...which houses many a like, and many a difference....we got some cool cats on the stage playing an even paced, moody yet easy going tune with style and ease. Those boys and girls on the stage are making it happen like they were born to make it happen.
I know this may seem odd to one such as yourself who has grown up with daily bombardments of some weasels political agenda in the shape gaming,tv,radio, media and what not...where smash mouthing, disrespecting and general loutish nonsense is theeee....'' thing to do '' Mistreating your fellow man and your good partner as well as mother earth her self, whilst grabbing at various body parts like either your life depended on it, or it makes your point of view more '' leeeegit''
But this isn't the way... you shouldn't do things because, you precieve them to be cool....or you think it soothes your needy heart that wants to be accepted by everybody. You should never harm yourself out of frustration or want. Life, will give you all the hurt you'll ever need....so don't go jumping before your time.
Smoking and what not, doesn't make you an adult...life, and your ability to survive its many onslaughts is what makes you an adult... no amounts of tobacco will ever boost your status in the world ( unless you own a tobacco company )
There is the small matter of choice however, and again, your time on this spherical theartre of mystery and wonder will give you choices a plenty.... but when it comes to the whole, smoking thing... be sure to think long and hard, and ask yourself why you're even contemplating such a thing.
You are effectively, killing yourself, if you choose to walk that path. Granted, i've always believed George Bush held a higher risk than a packet of cigarettes...but you didn't see him come with a silly redundant sticker on his tin did you ?
Drink/Smoke responsibly.....
Better yet.... don't do whatever Big bird wouldn't do himself...but then maybe it all depends on how much you know about big bird
Kids, Life is more than smoke and mirrors, so don't go shortening your chance to experience a universal wonder that you'll only ever get one chance at.
Now ....if you don't mind...I'm going to light up another Winterman, as there is a very particular young lady about to grace the stage with her beauty and soul....so shhhhh.. have a little think about things... and enjoy the Tune.

Just started smoking after a 4 day attempt, surprisingly very little cravings during that time but as soon as i felt the mental anguish coming on i thought "Stuff it".I don't smoke pre made cigarettes, just the rolling tobacco now. You might as well, its a hell of a lot healthier. I know someone who would buy the tobacco but he wouldn't smoke it. He would try swap it for the pre made ones, saved him money. I assume most people don't smoke it because it doesn't relieve the feelings of the pre made chemicals.
And yeah alcohol does go well with cigarettes, but i am an all or nothing kind of guy. If i smoke while i am drinking well i will end up smoking while i am sober, i can't do the social thing ha.

Anything spanish or german for me.. it all tastes the same but hey, when you get a beer written in another language it makes you look experienced lol.
You don't drink it straight do you?Some people really actually do enjoy it straight and really savor it.. i guess its acquired but even though you do get used to the taste, i don't see the point.

Ya, I typically drink it straight...You're right...It is an acquired taste...As for beer...I'm not huge on it...If my buddies and I are all just hanging out drinking it then sure...But when I'm alone...Never...

Lol i always just saw spirits as a means to get drunk really quick. Race to put as many down the gullet as you possibly can. Although Tequila with lemon is an exception, i can thoroughly enjoy it.
I forgot to mention, as for cigarettes i smoke Port Royal or Drum. On the pre rollers i never had a particular favorite, i just bought a pack for awhile then moved onto another.

I've never smoked - and most of you know I'm an alcoholic - but whenever I've been pregnant, I've craved cigarettes. At a time when it couldn't be more harmful, I've had to sometimes be forcibly dragged away from groups of smokers because of the risk of causing harm to the baby...but the smell is just wonderful to me during pregnancy.
I've often had dreams about taking up smoking and it never ever causing me any harm. It's so weird - I've never even tried to smoke so I have no idea where this comes from. No one in my family smokes (except my sister when she's REALLY drunk) and I've not grown up around smokers.
