What names would you give your kids?

If you have kids, or would want to have kids in the future, what names would you give them?

If I have a daughter, I will name her Analise Marie.

If it is a boy, I will name him David Alexander.

I would want my kids to have unique, yet not so common names. Also, not hard to pronounce and spell. Just to save the embarrassment when they reach school. Kids can be so mean to each other. :ermm:

Jude for a boy after my mom Judith who passed away when I was 16.
Rose for a girl after my grandmother.
Charlie for a girl (I like to gender bend names)
Olivia for a girl
Leonardo for a boy (Leo for short)

Ahh those gender bend names. Some are nice especially if you kind of twitch the spelling of it to make it more feminine or masculine.

I would name my second daughter after my mother as well. Same situation as yours, but I was 11. May they rest in peace.

Well I have a son and he is Alexander James, we've just found out we are having baby number 2 and if it's a boy he will be called:

Tobey Jack

And if she is a girl then she will be called:

Evelyn Claudia

All our names have links to films that mean something to me and my wife!

I feel sorry for the kids

Nah, here's my real answer.

If I were to have a girl I would name her Shelke, and a boy I would name Seth.

Shelke is one of some person's sisters name or some **** in final fantasy

It'd depend on the last name of my husband. But, in general, for girls:

Idina (pronounced Eh-dee-na) Jacqueline
Sydney Odette

Boys...
Michael Victor
Justus Gage
And if I marry a frenchman, I'm so going with Jean-Christoph.

Hmm. For boys, I'd love to call my sons (eep) either.. Vincent or Ezra. Or Micah. The last two are Biblical but I'm not relgious, I think they look/sound lovely.

For girls I have absolutely no idea D:
I'm always stuck for girls' names.

I see that some of you give two names. Is it so common? Because here we only have the first name and the surname(two first names is rare) and It's unlike that the second name you say is the surname.

Anyway, if it's a girl I would like to give her an ancient greek name like Hermione or Electra.

For boys I have absolutely no idea! Seriously!

The second name is the "middle" name :)

Yeah it's pretty common here to have two names. Some are "double-barrelled" for example Mari-Clare or Amy-Louise.

Or (like me), you have the Christian name and then a middle name which is sometimes the name of an older relative or ancestor. Or like my mum who thought my middle names (I have two) "sounded pretty" lol.
