The biggest rip-offs of all time...

I think I need to post these three epic rip-offs.

In 3rd place, it's Pitchers:

A rip-off of famous brand alcohol Pimm's by UK supermarket Sainsbury's

Pimm's No. 1 Cup is based on gin and can be served both on ice or in c ocktails. It has a dark tea colour with a reddish tint, and tastes subtly of spice and citrus fruit. It is often taken with "English-style" lemonade, as well as various fruits including apples, oranges, lemons, strawberry, cucumber and mint. It is 25% alcohol by volume.

The name "Pitchers" is a particularly annoying rip-off in itself, since the famous Pimm's c ocktail mentioned about is often served in a pitcher.

Look at them! They're TOO similar.



In 2nd place, we have the studio Video Brinquedo (and their most recent endeavor, "What's Up"):

This company is notorious for its rip-offs of Pixar and Dreamworks movies.

Video Brinquedo, or "Toyland Video" as it is also known, is a Brazilian company who have produced such classics as Little Cars (like Disney's Cars), Ratatoing (like Ratatouille), The Little Panda Fighter (like Kung Fu Panda) and School of Princesses, featuring many Disney Princess characters with different names (including Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and the evil queen from Snow White). And that's just a few of their titles.

What's Up is a completely shameless rip-off which makes me weep internally and blood pour from my eyes. It's that bad.

And in 1st place, we have Zone 40:

I seriously cannot believe the gall of this thing.

It has 40 games in an internal memory, including a blatant Pac-Man rip-off called The Mouse and the Cat as well as a Bomberman clone that, without shame, calls itself "Bomberman". There's also a game called "Hitting Mice" which features Donkey Kong on the title screen, Donkey Kong music and Jerry from Tom & Jerry! There is a suspicious Tetris rip-off called "Squares" which has the buildings on the title screen like Tetris does, and a Snake clone which copies its title screen from Sonic the Hedgehog.
Rip-offs within a rip-off, now that's hardcore.

Watch this review of it and feel your internal organs turn to mush and your eyes melt as you witness the horror that is Zone 40.

I heard that the game Kasumi Ninja was a rip-off if Mortal Kombat and after watching a few clips of it I say that Kasumi Ninja is a rip-off of Mortal Kombat.

The vii is terrible for starters.

If you dont know its a rip off of the wii.if your going to rip off something make it a little less obvious haha.

Australian cigarette tax:I don't know how bad it is around the world but they are raising it another 5$ which will be around $15-17 a packet and to top it off they are banning everywhere you can smoke.Not at the beach,recently banned on licensed outdoor patio areas!So much money is given to them by smokers,leave us ****ing be,we know its bad for us we are given pictures of black lungs and cancer rotted gums on every pack bought.Precisely why i've cut down so much and see myself quitting soon which is good because it smoking is actually really gay.Pretty difficult to stop but i'm not that desperate to be spending that much money.

Resturants:You go there and wait an hour and a half for food and by the time it gets to you your given a plate with some lettuce and a piece of salami.You have then paid $50,aren't full and it tasted like ****.On the other hand i could go to a supermarket,buy some quality meat for 5$,whip that up at home with some nicely made sauce in 20 minutes and be really full and satisfied.

Well nearly there i only had 2 today!When you stop for 3 days though and smell a cigarette you realize how much of an ass it smells like.I hate smoking now,2 years ago it wasn't about being cool because thats what most teens probably thought but it was actually satisfying at the time because you get a 'headspin' and thats all you'd need for one day it felt great.I smoke now and all i have done is calmed something down that is *issed of for no reason and in the process just damaged my body haha.

Clothes:Okay i go to a shop and see a nice pair of track pants,just because theres a little adidas symbol on it i have to fork out $80.Get real man all they sell now is metro clothes that have "BILLABONG" scrawled all over it.You go to a shop like the salvos or rivers and they have shirts and pants,plain or symbolled for only 10$!Only found this out a week ago i didn't know such a place existed where you can buy normal clothes.Screw the metros and screw fashion,i'm old school man and if you don't like it go eat some ****ing money.

Well smoking in your teens isn't that bad once you reach around 24 apparently your lungs or its your heart regenerates itself,not fully healed but it goes to a relatively normal level.After that,that **** is permanent and theres no more chances haha.

Well i mean clothes are great but i don't see the point in showing off a massive brand name on my body.My name isn't quiksilver its alex haha.I don't mind sport brands like nike and stuff, because its usually just a symbol or a small logo.I think lacoste is cool its a tennis brand and it has a little crocodile on there stuff.

Xbox Live DLC is a rip-off and capcom is one example,anything by them and usually your getting ripped off pretty harsh.I've never played the new street fighter but they make you pay for the new costumes when every single game has given them too you for free.Megaman 9 they make you pay for new difficulties,leaderboards and gamemodes from the day it came out.Then theres RE5 verses mode.It was already on the disc and they make people pay 200 MS points to unlock it so you can play it.

Avatar clothing:Selling fake clothing that nobody even gets to see for up to 500 MS points.How people buy into this **** i really don't know but its alot of people and MS would be raking in millions from this crap alone.They don't give free avatar gear now because people are always willing to buy it,what a fat shame.

Other content:Things like gamerpics,themes and a few maps.Should all be free if i had a computer that played good games i wouldn't have to pay for those things it would be released free and even if it didn't people are always making new unnofficial content so theres always something new to try sometimes even better then the official stuff.

The Shires - They pretty much are the local communities word and have the power to change stuff in towns, mainly they only change with the majority of the communities words but 95% of the people that get involved are only old people and don't make such good decisions.Now we had the most lovely playground down the road,old with many years strong outside of the local deli and gave a good feel.It was simple,stuff made from old wood,plenty of sand on floor,slide,tunnels,swings,flying fox etc...they tore it down and replaced it with something new because it wasn't 'safe enough'.

Now they make it 3 times smaller and put limestone blocks around the outside.Ironically the swing has the exact perfect distance for a kid to fly into the limestone blocks,the metal burns kids,there are plenty of areas to fall off and hit your head on the way down and it looks like an absolute piece of ****.Then for no reason next to it was a nice little area with an odd wooden kinda fence,with a slide and a bench,lots of sand,very chilled spot...so they break down all the posts,remove about a 70 year old tree,get rid of the sand,slide, then slap some grass on the top to cover it up.You felt really safe in that spot but now its just gone for no reason whatsoever.

Okay so now its just plain,modernized,boring and far more dangerous.Whenever i've seen old friends down the road or we just randomly meet they go"What the **** happened?It was the most excellent tranquill spot and they just wasted a **** load of money on it.And if it was dangerous all they would've needed to have done was replace or repair some of the equipment,not put in limestone to reduce it size by 10 fold and kill all the old trees!Its pathetic i wish i had taken pictures,it probably don't sound too much but i think anyone would agree 1000% on the old style if i could give a comparison.
