Hell yeah I'm voting! It sucks because the state I live in won't let you early vote. You have to vote the day of... I feel like they're doing this on purpose so the lower class can't get off work. Racist South Carolina...

Remember lower class isn't strictly a one-race class; I'm probably considered lower class and I'm white. They're trying to weed out certain voters, most definitely, but they're not doing it by race. (And, in that case, the people in charge of the voting times are probably Republican. :p)

And no, I'm not voting.

I honestly don't believe my vote counts, especially since I don't live in one of those highly acclaimed 'swing-states', not to mention that you never know who to vote for because all politicians are liars; they tell you what you want to hear, except in Romney's case of course, and then when they get elected they do what they want. All it really comes down to is picking the lesser of two evils and the question is no longer: Who do you believe in? It's: Who's going to screw up the world less? How is anyone supposed to pick a candidate anyway? Most of the time they're not even talking about the issues, they're talking **** about each other's personal lives and pasts. Obama has been the only candidate in as long as I can remember that actually has an endorsement that says: "Read my plan, read Romney's and pick who you want; I'd appreciate your vote." without all that useless mudslinging that does nothing but make you look classless.

Nothing will change in any case because congress is still the same and anyone who knows anything knows they really run things. They can stop a president they don't like from making any changes without a second thought.

That might sound a bit jaded but that's how I feel about it.

Yeah I probably should've qualified that... Not only is South Carolina the most racist state, but it also is very obsessed with "status", and yes... this state is for sure Republican hence the voting times. ;) At least NC is a TAD more liberal and lenient.

I honestly don't get your problem with NC, we're a pretty nice state, in my opinion; must be those bigger cities you're thinking about. :p (Can't say much about SC 'cause I don't hang out there like that but I'll take your word for it.)

I just don't like Charlotte, the rest of NC is pretty nice! :D I'll just say I prefer Manhattan the most. haha XD

I didn't vote, and Facebook is making me feel like **** about it. :( But guys, I live in Louisiana, and we have like 8 electoral college votes anyway. No one comes to campaign because they know it's hopeless.

Don't let others make you feel like **** because you didn't vote. Voting is a personal choice, just like who you vote for is personal and you have just as much right to not step up to the polls as you do to step up to them.

I had forgot that you live in North Carolina, in my mind you had started to live in Georgia! I'll move you back where you belong asap. :p

About the election - it's unfair that Norwegians can't vote! But I'm not sure who I would vote for anyway.... The Republicans have an appalling policy on some things (civil rights of various kind), but still I think I'm closer to the GOP overall, so probably they would get my vote.

I don't know whether or not to get a kick out all the Republicans angered over Obama's re-election and tweeting about moving to Canada, or to be horrified over the very prospect.

Yup, national same-sex marriage, universal healthcare, de-facto decriminialization of marijuana, higher minimum wages, 13-16% taxes, big government, largest number of athiests outside of Scandanavia, hundreds of gay mounties and a National Conservative Party that's probably more liberal than the Democrats... yup, Republicans would do real well here in our nation of eternal socialist torment.

obamas our president again

im dissipointed
I can't believe he actually won. What did he ever do besides end the war at the end of his term? Of course ending a war is a big deal but it seems like that's all he did. Both my parents did'nt really care but I was mad cause I wanted Romney to win, since Ron Paul didn't make it.

You obviously don't have a job or pay taxes because Romney would absolutely kill the working class had he been elected and given the freedom by congress to do so. (And what do they care anyway? They don't actually work.)

They keep saying: "The question here is: 'Are you in a better position today then you were four years ago?'" And my answer is yes, I am.

Just curious - what do you expect Mitt Romney to do for you? Unless of course your family is pulling in an income of at least a million dollars a year, then it goes without saying. :)
Exactly. He kept going on and on about not raising your taxes but, by taking away all tax deductions and having a flat tax-rate for everyone, he would be raising your taxes without having to actually raise your taxes. The only people who wouldn't feel that are rich people like him. Isn't it funny how it works out that way?
