Very clever there, Peter. We're not idiots. I know your ploy here. Your half assed attempts to distinguish yourself from someone who just recently caused problems on here with multiple accounts, who you've also just established a connection with, is very telling. So you don't get to play victim and act as if you're being attacked. You just gave us reason to question you. Then you quickly jump to YouTube to defend yourself like some other YouTube obsessed schmuck we all know too well. Not to mention the condescending fashion you keep handing out likes. This wouldn't be the first time you've used an alternate account to back up your points, like gee, the one Cure Zombrex made about new members, or more precisely, your other alternate, Mjolnir, being driven away by your "victimization." So call me a bully, Peter. I dare you. You couldn't spin it before, you won't spin it this time either.
It may be amusing to make reaction videos, but it's also crazy and unfair, to mock a few guys over their opinions. So what if people say the series sucks now, or that it is being used as a cash cow? I'm not saying anybody is right here, but it's all subjective. So in the major community's ranks, anybody who says the RE2 remake sucks or isn't like the first remake, are, by default, erroneous losers? Is that what you're trying to say here?!

Yeah, honestly worrying about the character designs being different in a remake sounds like the biggest waste of your time possible, man. I only saw the other threads you posted about this in after I went here, so it kinda sounds like you just wanted to complain about this again a few weeks later. Character designs get updated all the time and it's really not unusual for them to be changed for a remake.
As for the idea of the "canon" changing in any way with the remake, or the various plot threads introduced in Revelations not being continued in the mainline series, I really hate to break it to you but I don't think Capcom cares as much as you do about it. I don't expect RE2 to change the plot in any significant way, if only because they know how sacred it is to some fans, but if you are getting this worked up over character designs being different, yeah you probably won't be happy. It's not going to be a 1 to 1 recreation (and will be better for it). As for Revelations, if you compare the critical reception and sales of RE7 to that of Revelations 2, it's very clear which one resonated with people more, and yeah don't expect to see RE8 start dealing with Alex clones or super soldiers. We're most likely going to be sticking to the mostly stand-alone incidents that made RE1, RE4, and RE7 the instant classics they were.
I get you care a lot about this series and I don't want to make you feel bad for caring about it, I just don't think Resident Evil is the healthiest series to be this obsessive over because it really doesn't take itself as seriously as you take it.

You can tell that Rely on Horror is not a real news site. They even compared gay people and AIDS to Resident Evil. Why are they comparing a gaming conglomerate to a person's sexuality? Also, they're lucky they didn't get reported for slander. That's what that article in the link above is all about. They didn't mention Grace Saunders, but they did mention Nemesis - and a whole bunch of other people they seemingly disagreed with...
In general, all they do is speculate. That's a speculation site at best. Very little of what they post is true. Even when they do post news, it hardly matters. It's just their own take on news you can see elsewhere, that isn't being authored by a clique of haters. That's why Resident Evil Horror shut down years ago. The same people who run Rely on Horror tried to blackmail Capcom over 1.5 and even had insiders. It's all true as well...
They banned any traitors that told others what they were doing. And I also know of this troll called Beasley23803 who entered a contest to have one's name in the Resident Evil 5 manual. Look it up. He cheated in that competition anyway. He admitted that on GameSpot, years ago. That is a guy just disrespecting the rules. He didn't deserve to gain a mention. In general though, forums like that are full of bullies that hate any real talk...
