Mortal Kombat. I expected Uncharted 3 to rule the year, but it was a big let-down. I usually don't categorize fighting games as spectacular games, but MK is a really well-made game. Good balancing, great story. Did the classics justice, I say.

Well I voted for Skyrim. It's funny tho cause I didn't really like Oblivion that much but I decided to give Skyrim a go and I haven't stopped playing it since.
My other favourite games of 2011 were Arkham City, Mortal Kombat, Battlefield 3, Dead Space 2, Uncharted 3, Gears 3 & Sonic Generations.
