Will we see REmake 2 footage this year?

I'm curious to know: is there any chance we get any kind of gameplay footage of REmake 2 in 2016? It was announced back in August, meaning they've been working on it for the better part of 7 months (almost 8 months), by the time E3 rolls around, it will have been in development for 10 months to the day since it was first announced, I'd say that's plenty of time to have a small teaser with a few short minutes of gameplay added.

Not to mention, we're still waiting on the official confirmation of RE7. Any chance they'll get an announcement trailer simultaneously?

probably not announced together. but yeah i would put money on one of the two being at e3

There's a chance of course although it could be very small. If REmake 2 or RE 7 indeed show up at E3 then I think it's going to compete with some high profile AAA tittles (possibly The Last of Us 2 included). But again the announcement can happen anyday, remember RE 6 was revealed on a random day out of thin air.
