Resident Evil 6 Why Always Have To Play The Beginning Scene?

Do I have to play the beginning mission everytime I start my Resident Evil 6 game?

Once you've finished it, no. Only the first time. After that you can choose it from the main menu if you want to play it again, but you don't have to.

But why mine does?

I was at the Chapter 3 and quit the game until I start my RE6 by next tomorrow and everything gone/dissapear/vanish/missing (skills, chapters, weapons, etc.) and I am really confuse that I should play it from the beginning.

Maybe delete any saved data from you system and do it fresh. Mine got corrupted couple days ago but it was only my DLC.
