What's your dream job?

My goal is to be elected into public office and then appointed as a provincial or federal Cabinet Minister - preferably Minister of Labour as I'm quite passionate about that portfolio. A year ago, I would have said this was wholly unattainable but now that I work in politics, and I'm starting to network and understand how the game works... it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.

It'll just take lots of work and lots of 60+ hour weeks.

I've always wanted to be a video game beta tester. Either that or part of a development team. I wanna be the chick who develops the environment.

"Happy little trees."

I'm really good with my hands and I have a thing for baking so instead, I'm becoming a pastry chef...amongst other things.

There are actually a lot of things that I'm interested in and I would love to do for a living. My 3 big dream jobs are my hobbies at the same time.

First, becoming an author/screenwriter (at the moment I'm actually writing a book with a lot of other amateur authors. It's a project where veteran authors work together with teenagers who dream of becoming an author, and help them to publish their first book, with our names on it, by a real publisher.)

Secondly, becoming an actor (I've taken acting lessons on a weekly basis for a long time and I'm about to start again at august). And once I'm getting better I might try to look for an agent who thinks I'm talented enough.

Maybe even, since I'm doing a lot on Ninjutsu, becoming a professional fighter one day

However I will NOT do one of those 3 things as my "main job" yet because they all can either make you famous or ruin your life. If it turns out I'm getting really good at writing/fighting/acting then maybe I'll consider it, but right now it's too risky.

I'm probably about to study at a university soon and the only 3 topics that I could imagine are: Economy/Business, Languages/Communication and Media/Design.

I wanted to do several things when I was going through school ect.
My dream jobs were
Architect
Professional artist
Paramedic

My current job is building design Using AutoCad which is quite close to architecture.

I wanted to be a policewoman, but when I applied I failed the medical examination. So no career in law enforcement for me :(

I'm going to be honestly honest, the dream that I so badly, I can't get and that would be Zoo Caretaker. I would do anything to get this job because I love animals and would love to take care of some at a Zoo (As long as it is not no farm animal because they are the worst ever to take care of, plus I already spend a whole decade taking care of some and I hate it.), but I can't due to some very, very stupid and lame reasons.

If I had to go with what I have planned, then after that then my dream job would be working as a computer engineer for a big and successful company in a big city.

Can you not try again at some point ?

I could have tried again five years later, but the rules are pretty strict. And the result would have been the same. I have a slight scoliosis in my back - fortunately not enough to cause me serious trouble (yet), but too much to pass the test.

I'm a medical engineer now, which is also pretty cool :)

The tests at the police are very strict. A friend of mine failed because he has a small stoop ... and yet the complain that nobody wants to join the police. In my year there were about 6 guys who wanted to work with the police. And only 2 made it in.
