What would you guys recommend?

Hey so I Really want a new game, so badly that just sold three games, to make 30 dollars. What I'm asking is, I have the disc tray error on my xbox, and cant play anything at all, theres this guy in town who will fix it for 40$. Problem is, if I scrape up another 10$ to fix it, I wont be getting another game until Christmas. So what do you guys think I should do?

I got a couple games I want that I can buy virtually.
 
Well you could always buy and download the games from xbl marketplace and then get the disc error fixed later. But I always preferred physical copies of games/cd's etc. than digital lol.
 
Sell your 360 to buy a wii and The Last Story. Send it straight to me. Is this even a question?
 
It's tough. I'm kinda leaning to fixing your disc tray first, because when you think about it, if you do buy a new game then it's just going to be sitting on your shelf until your disc tray is fixed which.
 
Well I found out I hve TON of PS2 games that are VERY scratched. I'm just gonna fix em up in town near by and resell them. after that I'm gonna get my xbox fixed witch leaves me with30$ that I will save, a friend of mine gave me his steam account info, and on my youtube channel, (UmbrellaOwned) you can look forward to half life 2, and amnesia: the dark decsent.

PS2 games that are worth selling are, like, 50 cents. You know that, right ?
 
Perhaps you can do something to earn some extra cash? It shouldn't take a lot of work to earn a few dollars, maybe do some services for someone in your family or a neighbor. :)

Blivvy's suggestion sounds like a good one, but it's not fixing the error. I guess you would want to fix the error sooner or later, and sooner is often better than later. Later is often the same as never.

Or you could follow Rathit's suggestion, sell it and get rid of the problem. :p

LOL, thats a bit of an exaggeration, but yes the mosy expensive one I'm doing I think is like 5.00$ or something. But yeah I'm not selling my xbox.

@Romero. Both of my parents are no longer working, so I cant get anything from them, my closest neighbor is about 3/4 of a ,mile away, and my closest familly is about 1,000 miles away so yeah.

but as I stated earlyer, I have a few xbox games I'm gonna sell, and some PS2 games I'm gonna sell, after all that I should have around 50-60$. I'll get my xbox fixed, get my NAT fixed, and then I can play with my buds.
 
Well check if you can get it fixed anywhere cheaper, maybe you still got some xbox warranty left? Even just getting the crappest job in the world for like 2 weeks? Its normal to say "After these 2 weeks working, the job isn't for me" and just leave.

Its not under warranty. and this place just opened. Its an electronic store. kinda like best buy.
