What happened to Carlos?

He was just meant to be a partner to Jill in Nemesis. I do miss him, he had potential - like Billy in Zero - but I don't think we'll ever see him again, to be honest.
That sucks, because his character is really underrated! He could have been an awesome character in other RE games. Him and Jill, had a 'thing' too!
Carlos is a great character, but he really has no reason to be in the series anymore. He was just a mercenary...He has no real ties to any of the characters or Umbrella. Unlike most of the other main cast members. He was awesome though, and I would welcome more of him. It just isn't necessary.
