I don't know if I'm right or not, I haven't played RE5 for a while, but I thought the blonde hair and pale skin was a result of Jill either being in stasis for an extended period of time, or because of the experiments performed on her in harvesting her antibodies to the T-Virus and subsequent research and development on the Uroboros virus. Like I said, I may be wrong, but I thought that her hair turned blonde before the P-30 device was placed on her chest. I think there was a file that stated her hair had changed while she was in stasis, you find it on a screen after Excella talks to you on a computer screen.
Either way, though, if Jill's hair can't naturally go back to her natural colour, Capcom could just make it that colour and say she dyes it.
EDIT: Here's a transcript of the file I mentioned.

Ironically I am currently replaying RE5 with one of my best friends atm.
A stasis pod can very well turn someone pale, however there is no logic for that to turn someone's hair to a different color. I am pretty sure it was a result of Albert's experiments on her to further his research on Uroboros and the progenitor virus. It seems like almost anyone who "bonds" to the T-virus has their hair turn blonde. Jill still has the T-Virus dormant in her blood and Wesker's experiment did react with that.

"Jill, who had reviled bioweapons and devoted her life to eradicating them, was ironically being used to develop the most terrible bioweapon of all. After much research and experimentation, Wesker finally perfected the Uroboros virus. As a test subject, Jill's body went through various changes as a result of these experiments. Side effects included pale skin and blonde hair. Jill's participation in its development meant that she was no longer a suitable test subject. Pure and unadulterated antibodies with high resistance to the virus permeated her body. Wesker decided he would find a suitable use for her elsewhere. Stripped from her BSAA uniform, Jill was fitted with a skin tight battle suit and kept in observation during her stay in cryostasis. During the research into the Progenitor virus, an ancillary chemical was discovered. The researchers referred to it as simply - P30. When administered to test subjects, it would not only give them superhuman strength, but also rendered them highly susceptible to control."
I don't care what Jills hair color is, as long as they don't just make her unphased by everything. She has now been through more mentally then any other major character. Mental horror could add a whole new deminsion to the games, I want to actually see her fighting to cope with it all.
I actually disagree with this. She certainly went through a lot but I will argue that Natalia went through more horrors and suffered more loss than any other character in the series. She went through the most horrible of experiments and was exposed to pure malice induced experiments by the cruelest person to date (this is my opinion). It's true that Alex treated her with "care" but that definition is broad.
Natalia lost her parents at a young age and survived the collapse of Terragrigia. She also is truly losing her self is in trapped within her body and supressed. I'd imagine that Alex has her locked up in a dream state of the worst of nightmares to keep her down and broken willed and sometimes false fantasies.
Chris lost his parents at a young age and Jill went though horrible experiments. She was aware of everything she did unlike Natalia who is
"a bird trapped in a cage". Natalia at a very young age has had the experiences of both Chris and Jill and with a fate far worse than anyone else. Deep inside she is trapped with the worst of horrors that is unspeakable.
I agree. I just hope they won't mess it up like with Chris in RE6 who suffered from PTSD, Amnesia plus he was an alcoholic for six months, but he gets aways with it like nothing ever happened
They really shouldn't sweep that under a rug and pretend like her being captured by Wesker never happened.
Really? I thought RE6 was Chris's stronger story yet. He actually was developed and very emotional. He felt very human rather than being just like Captain America XD I loved his PTSD and he suffered great losses. He always puts other's first and has been self-sacrificial from the start of the series. He and Piers took the rear to protect the squad from the B.O.W.'s that were chasing him. Chris was protecting his team so if anyone died..... it was him and his team was ambushed leaving only him and Piers to live. Everything Chris was trying to stop happened, this is very tragic and would emotionally destroy him. He's lost more partners than he can count
After the loss of Piers I don't see how he can recover. He's without a doubt going to try to stop terrorist but his mental state and abilities will be an issue for him. I get the feeling that his days are numbered and his 9 lives are about to expire :'(
For the record I never cared nor liked Chris until RE6. He was my least favourite of all of the protagonist and he was a very one-dimensional character. He is now one of my favorites and a very complex and well written character. Chris is a true hero that must be respected for his honor and selflessness to put everyone before him no matter who it is. He even accepted his fate to Jake as long as Jake promised to fight B.O.W's in his steed. He's also asked his partners to kill him if it meant stopping a threat.
