What are you Reading?

So nothing super intellectual, but I read one of the Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn last weekend. (Yes, like the Netflix show; though I haven't actually seen the Netflix show.) It wasn't the best I've ever read but certainly not the worst. Pretty much what you'd expect from a regency romance novel. Doesn't really make me want to go out and read the others or watch the show though.

I just finished The Rise of Kyoshi which was actually very well written for a show tie in book. The book really chronicles how Kyoshi became the Avatar she was who was known for being powerful and decisive and did not have a problem with killing her opponents if she needed to, but it starts from the time when she was a timid worker prior to finding out she was the Avatar.

I just started the sequel and it has been a great ride too. Really keeps you engaged.
