Resident Evil 2 (2019) Weird problem on Re2 remake, how to cut the tape??

I just met the injured black cop in the main hall of the cop station, got the combat knife ....

But how to cut the tape on the switch box close by???

I am playing on the PC, when I get close to the box it shows a mouse button icon, press it and I get my inventory come up. But no option to cut the tape. Tried all the buttons.

Help please.

Never mind. Used a wrong knife!
