Hey I had a problem with the versus, the disc of Resident Evil 5 that I bought was from europe and when I download the versus it doesnt works, I friend told me that it was because the disc I had is from other country and I bough the versus from the PSN network from USA.

Can someone help me with it ? :(

if that is the case then theres nothing you can do.
may i ask why you bought it from europe instead of getting a copy from your local game store?

Easy, My parents were in spain, and ask me what I want, I told them that I want the Resident Evil 5, it was my error because I didnt know that problem, so my parents bring me the game and other gifts.... then I bought the versus mode and it doesnt works
that's why I'm here asking for some help

PD: yeah, I dont know why I want the game from spain but they bought it anyways.

lol fair play.
erm..i don't think theres anything you can do in terms of getting versus to work with your copy, however it is saved on your hard drive so if you bought an american copy you wont need to download it again.

ive gotta say though, versus is actually really rubbish anyway.

Well I will not buy another copy, I prefer to someone pass me the american versus edition, add me and maybe we can play mercenaries later.

I'm pretty sure than all DLC on the playstation store is region locked. If you really wanted to, you could call Sony up and they could probably sort it out for you.

I prefer not ><
Actually I prefer someone can pass me the versus mode, I just check out my CD again and it looks like I made a mistake, the disc is from USA, the versus mode dont, all by my brother fault.
It looks that I need someone who can pass me the versus mode.

but you said that the game came from spain...so it wouldn't have been american.
and you didn't need to make another thread requesting versus mode.
to be honest it sounds as though your trying to get versus mode for free off someone.
:/

i may be wrong but thats what it looks like.

and now you want someone to give you versus.
very suspicious if you ask me.

It does sound suspicious. If it came from Spain then it can't be a NTSC disc, it would be a PAL disk. The only way that a NTSC disc can be bought in Spain would if the NTSC disk was in a PAL case by a mistake, and that would be a 0.01% chance of that happening.

Second how can someone give someone else versus? You can't transfer, send, nothing. The only way someone can give it to someone else is if the person has it travels to the person's house who dosen't have it and transfer it to the harddrive (which I don't know if it is possible for PS3, but it is possible for Xbox 360). Or another way (and I think this works for PS3) is if someone sends him a code to download it for free.

The only way that we can find out the problem is if he takes pictures and show us the pictures of both the disk and the case. And after that he would have to give us more detail of the problem. We won't know what is really going on if he continues to say it won't work.

Well, this should apply to other things as well as Re5. Gamesharing is bad, don't do it unless you are fond of strangers spending your money.
