I'm always thinking how amazing it would be if CAPCOM would re-make the old Resident Evil 2 on the PS3, it would be amazing. I don't have anything against the new resident evil's that have come out, but the concept has changed and it seems like a totally new game. The new one that is going to have co-op? Resident Evil was never meant to turn out like this, it's just become another zombie shoot'em up game. I wish it stayed the way it was on the original Playstation, anybody get what I'm trying to explain?

theres already a couple of threads about this and they hold the same info..capcom are planning it once RE5 are out of the way, AS A MAYBE, cant stress that enough, its only a maybe, but the head guy would like to get it done, as he knows his fans really want it.

I remember reading an article from Joystiq where they interviewed the creator of the series and he mentioned that he would really like to go back to say RE 2 and remake it, but that he was currently to busy working on RE5. So there is some hope.
Im all for a remake of this instant classic, though I think Capcom could take a different approch and instead of remaking all the classic games then make more CGI Movies. I really enjoyed Degenration and seeing some of the classic games being remade in CGI would be great. What do you think? They could release them all and have their own series of CGI Movies.
