This is just wrong....

*Meg wanted to comment, but she grinded her Feminist teeth into dust and so can't speak*

I don't even need to respond to this. I mean come on...SEVEN year olds?! If I ever think about dressing my child up like that, and letting her get up on stage and DANCE like that..when she's only seven....please, just shoot me. And if I live..shoot me again lol.

I know, right? I'm twenty and I wouldn't go anywhere dressed like that, let alone stand on stage that way!

I agree, child beauty pageants are also just sick, if anyone gets the chance watch the Tyra Banks special on it on Youtube, it's very eye opening.

What amazes me is that most of those little girls have so much make up on they look completely fake, like little dolls or something. Children are beautiful the way they are, there's no need to put make-up on a toddler.

Not to mention putting makeup on such a young, fresh face will make their face break out really bad....

Thank you! I don't dare put even a smidgen of makeup on my face if it's nice and spotless, no acne anywhere to be seen; if I do I'll wake up the next day looking like a pizza face.

Woah, these kids parents are way beyond F'ed in the head. While I will admit their routine was pretty well preformed I just imagine how hard they had to drive and scold them to get it right. Poor kids.

Wow! Some times I feel like I come from a different universe!

The video is blocked in my country and because of all the comments here i thought they were molesting the kids or something. Then I watched it on an another site so here's my opinion.

When it comes to appearence what is considered ethical and what not differs from time and place. I remember a teacher of mine telling me how unethical it was having a bath during the middle ages because according to Christianity it was your soul that should be clean and not your body. I also remember a video that it was stating how normal it was in the ancient times for vases, that were displayed publicly, to portray sexual intercourse between people, homosexual or heterosexual.

Obviously, I'm a part of a society with its own rules of morality towards ones image. I don't have a daughter but probably I don't think I would let her do this dancing because of those rules. However, I also try to think that those things are personal for the reasons I explained in the paragraph above and I'm not going to bash anyone for letting his kid act like this. Because for me real immorality comes from your actions towards other people - when you kill, when you steal, when you sexually abuse someone, not from the way you look.

On a side note, one should have seen this happening sooner or later. Kids will always immitate adults.

Also, to clarify it's not like I didn't find this weird, but I do believe there are things which are far worse out there.

Agreed, but this is practically child porn. I see what you mean, and it could be considered normal even. However, society today doesn't agree with dressing your child as a whore and sending them out on stage.
