I think the island could be Sheena Island. If you look at the picture of the island and compare it to Sheena Island, it has the same shape and the mountain looks a lot like it.
Also, the last name Thompson was on the list at the party, and Ark Thompson was the main character of Survivor, which took place on Sheena Island...
