Resident Evil 6 Split Screen Co op?

Will this game feature split screen co op for the CAMPAIGN mode? I ask because i just downloaded the demo and I cannot play with my buddy, split screen. is this just a demo thing?

i assume there will be some kind of split screen mercenarie mode, or whatever, but will players be able to progress through the story playing (literally) next to each other, with split screen?

this will be the deciding factor of buying the game. i have to include my roommate...

I'm pretty sure I've seen previews of the campaigns in split screen.

Yeah, I was annoyed that there was no split screen in the demo. There will be split screen in the game though.

Oh yes and two players on the same console can go online together as well! I still think that demo should have supported it though. But whatever.
